Great opportunity to enjoy the area and learn about it's history! - Kieran was an outstanding tour guide! He has deep knowledge of the area and it's history and we thoroughly enjoyed our time walking with him--even in the rain! His tour prompted us to find out more about this period in Irish history, listening/watching documentaries while driving from place to place. He was spot on and really knows his stuff. Thanks, Kieran! Bob and Mary Larkin

Brilliant Walking Tour! Highly recommend! - This is a must if you visit Cobh! A brilliant way to spend an afternoon learning about the part Cobh had to play in the Irish Independence Story. Our host was so knowledgeable and charismatic and the time flew by in a haze of interesting facts and anecdotes. We thoroughly enjoyed this and would highly recommend this to learn about Cobh!

Interesting tour with Cobh Rebel Walking Tours - Beautiful day to do the walking tour, warm and sunny. We met our guide Kieran outside of the Cobh Heritage Center. He jumped right in explaining the harbor and the history of Cobh. We walked to several parts of the town as Kieran explained the historic events of the 1800/1900s. He was very knowledgeable and did an excellent tour for us.

Loved this tour - Kiernan was fabulous. An incredible amount of knowledge and he shared it in a way that you could picture the events happening on the streets you were standing on. Having little details - such as the house of a woman who helped the rebels was not only burned down, but the Black and Tans did it the day she was away burying her father — made the tour much more than recitation of events. I would highly recommend to anyone— you will be swept away by Ireland’s fight for independence and the role of Cobh

Makes history come alive with personal stories! - You would expect an Irishman to weave tales worth listening to, but our guide Kieran far surpassed my expectations! Rather than a litany of dates and names, we heard personal stories about Cobh characters from the 18th century through independence in the early 20th! One of the best historical tours I have ever taken!
