Unforgettable Tour with Lalo and Kaleht! - Our guide Lalo was absolutely awesome! From the very beginning, everything was perfectly organized. He was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, and made sure everyone in our group felt included. He conducted the tour in English since we were all from the U.S., but he also accommodated our Spanish-speaking group members when needed. We started at Cobá, where we explored the ruins surrounded by lush jungle. There’s a fair amount of walking involved, but it’s mostly shaded and not too strenuous. Lalo shared fascinating historical insights at every stop. Next up was Turtle Cove in Akumal. The beach was beautiful, and the boat ride out was short and smooth—only about 300 yards offshore. We saw so many sea turtles! A special shoutout to Lisandro, one of the local guides, who kindly gave me a personal tour when I was having trouble in the water. He was patient and so helpful. Lunch at the beach was exactly what we needed after a busy morning—chicken burritos with fries that were absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend this tour enough. Lalo the guide and Kaleht the driver made this an experience to remember.

Coba, Turtles, Lunch on the beach. - This tour was so amazing. Just what we hoped for. Saul and Benji were the best! Saul made us feel like familia. We were 2 in a group of only 11 people. We all enjoyed each other. Tour was well planned and paced. Perfecto Los chicos.

Fantastic day out full of culture, fun and good food - Félix and Benji were outstanding, so many laughs and lots of learnings about the history of Tulum and the cenotes, followed by an incredible swim with the turtles. All topped off with a lovely Burrito. A truly lovely day and couldn’t recommend enough.

Lots of Van Time - Cool Experiences! - Overall it was a fun day! We drove to Coba to walk through the jungle and see the ruins. It is a decent walk on an uneven jungle floor, which allowed us to immerse ourselves into the experience. You cannot climb the ruins at this time. However, they are building a wooden staircase that should be done by 2026. We were disappointed to not have that experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and energetic. Buy a snack before loading the bus. Lunch is the last stop. We drove to the Sea Turtle Snorkeling Adventure. We saw a total of 4 sea turtles in our short excursion. While we understand that turtles are swimming freely and "on the move", the length of the excursion didn't allow much time to explore beyond following the tour guide through the water. We drove to the Verando beachfront restaurant. The road is horrible with major bumps and potholes resulting in a LONG drive to the restaurant. Food was ready upon arrival around 2:30pm. The chicken burrito was amazing - legit Mexican food! Seaweed along the coast created a strong sulphur odor in the air. Transportation was a disappointment. First, we had to sit at a 7-Eleven for 25 minutes waiting for another van to swap out families based on the languages needed for the tour guide. Second, we had minimal air flow in the back of our van. It was a HOT 1.5 hour ride to/from Coba. Last, there is so much drive time in this tour. Be ready to spend half your time in the van. Hospitality was exceptional by the staff!
