Marco is the Best! - My husband and I travel a lot for his work, and we are always responsible for organizing our family trips, so we really appreciate not having to think too much for transport and appreciate reliable, great service during holidays. Marco and Spot Madeira were exactly that. We booked for a private tour for 7-8 people two days all around the island, plus a hotel transfer. We used them with a different driver for a smaller half day trip and the final airport transfer.
This company is super easy to book with, incredibly responsive, and very reasonably priced compared to other options, especially if you have a big group - private transfer is the absolute best way. They are always on time and accommodating if we are off schedule!!
A very very special thank you to Marco, who we used on most of our trips, he was absolutely incredible. First, he is genuinely so passionate about what he does, it has been his dream since he was a kid, and it truly shows in the energy that he brings on the tour. He is full of joy to share his island with people from all over the world, and has taken on the tremendous effort of learning many languages to make it easy for his clients (including but not limited to English, Spanish, German, French in addition to his native Portuguese). He gave some of the best food recommendations and helped us create the best routes for each day, always taking into consideration our personal needs. We learned so much about the islands flora, fauna, and history, it felt like we were inside a fun documentary and viewing the island develop through his eyes over his lifetime. He is so fun to talk with, but also he knows when everyone is tired when to just cruise and appreciate the peaceful ambiance.
He has been doing this for 27 years and knows probably everyone and everything on the island, so you are certainly in the best hands.
Thank you Spot Madeira for being so reliable and providing great vehicles, service, and drivers. Thank you Marco for being the absolute best of the best, adding that extra special human touch that made our trip SO special and memorable for everyone! Wishing you all the best, and will recommend you to everyone who visits the island.

An excellent day out…. - A cracking whistle-stop tour to the west of Madeira incorporating all the main hotspots. Marco was a great guide, chatting to us and our French co-travellers throughout, translating our tales and his location descriptions constantly. It made the full day seem just a short journey.
So good, we re-booked for another tour to the east with Marco and Spot Madeira Travel

Island tour from Funchal - We had an 8 hour island tour with our guide Marco who was very nice and professional, helpful and very attentive. He also had a tremendous amount of knowledge. He brought the history of Madeira across in a comprehensible manner in German. The tour went to the Skywalk, the Paul da Serra plateau with the Laurel Forest. We went to Porto Moniz and visited the bridal veil. A highly recommended tour. Anytime again...

The very BEST Island tour - Our private tour of the west and east of the island was just fantastic! We had a great time! Marco is not only incredibly entertaining, but also full of passion and impressive knowledge. He was always attentive, professional and made us feel completely comfortable. We have learned so much about the people, the history, life in Madeira and the fascinating nature. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience, I highly recommend Spot Madeira Travel! Best guide ever! - We made 3 trips with Spot Madeira and,Guide Marco during our stay. Everything was well organized, and Marco the best guide we ever had. He speaks min. 5 languages responds to his guests and loves his job. Thanks Marco, we will be back next year!

Not wat is advertised - I booked this tour because i thought it covered the 3 places i wanted to visit. It was a full day tour. However i found out that the stops wernt actually an hr at each place but mostly photo stops.
Porto moniz cama de lobos and warerfalls. The itinarary was quite clear! However at first i was refuseda refund once i put the pressure on i got my money back.
Be careful wen booking these tours that they are actually wat they say they are. I didnt go !
