Amazing Guide and Thrilling Rides! - Loved this tour! And if you're faint of heart maybe consider staying at your hotel. When I read negative reviews for this tour, all those things were positives for me! The ride is rough and can be muddy through the narrow off road streets you will be on. I loved being able to stand in the back of the jeep during this, even the older man in our group stood up and enjoyed dodging branches with us. The temperature during our April stay was between 24 to 30 degrees so the seats got hot while we were out of the car. The sights were mesmerizing, when you look up it was almost as if the mountains stretched out above us. Our driver was such a fun guy and said he continues to look up more information about the island so he can provide better tours. He also had extra time at the end of our tour so he brought us back to the Poncha bar at the base of the mountain. Our guide Diego was what made the tour so fun and thrilling, his driving was impressive and his humour is infectious. I highly recommend you try one of these tours just be prepared for rough roads and tight turns!
