Madeira West - Great way of seeing further parts of the Island, the highlight is Porto Moniz with its lovely atmosphere, unique rock pools and fabulous coadt line. Paulo the driver guide was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

Fantastic West Coast tour with Lionel - My friend and I absolutely loved our West Coast tour with Feeling Madeira. We had Lionel as our guide, who was fantastic - he made the tour so much fun! Lots of good banter, making us laugh but also sharing lots of facts about each place. The bus was comfortable and his driving was really good - we felt very safe on the drive around winding roads. You go up to some amazing view points on the way, so depending on the cloud you either see a lot or you watch the cloud roll over! The tour itself has a great itinerary, which gives pockets of time at some beautiful locations. You get some stops where you'll have 20-30 minutes and a longer stop of about 1hr30 at lunchtime in Porto Moniz. There's an option to have a set lunch at a local place (he will book, you settle up in advance) or he can give you a few tips on alternatives. We had a salad and drink on the seafront which was great. Our 11 fellow tour mates were respectful of our timings for when to get back to the bus, which is very important on this tour - it packs things in and you need to be on time so you can see everything. Feeling were an excellent operator - very good communication once booked and then again ahead of the tour. On the day before our tour we received a WhatsApp message with instructions for our nearest meeting point, with both a location link and a photo (handy). If you're staying somewhere in the pedestrianised area of Funchal you will be given a meeting point which is very close to you. Ours was at a taxi/bus stop just by the main road. Lionel absolutely made our day! Make sure you take the invitation to move up front in the passenger seat for some of the tour. You get a better view of the landscape and the stunning scenery! We jumped in on a few of the stops and rotated with the others. Huge thanks for a great tour! Helen & Izzy

Wonderful experience! - I loved it, i got to see a lot,very knowledgable tour guide, i saw so many beautiful sites,unforgettable experience! Very well organised,i was picked up from my hotel on time

West Madeira trip was exceptional. - Paulo out your guide was excellent. His knowledge of Madeira and his passion for the country meant we had a great understanding of everyday life. The day was full with lots of stops all of which were great. Very professional. Exceptional Value for money. A full west side experience.

Wonderfull experience. - Amazing tour with Renato. The best way to visit Madeira if you have short time to see the island. Small group is a bonus. You have no choice with the weather, but Feeling Madeira and Renato make the best of it.

A good day, but could be better. - A good introduction to the beautiful island, waterfalls and mountains. Unfortunately the tour was spoilt by tour guide Gloria and her reprimands about time keeping, it seems confused due to misinformation from the office about pick-up times! This added a degree of stress to the day and reminded one of being on a school trip with a stern schoolmistress.

Terrible mistake on Viator’s part. - We were on a “Feeling Madeira” tour this morning. Ref.# 1230696397. At our first stop about 20 minutes from the pickup point, six of us from the ship found out the tour wasn’t scheduled to end until 5:00, too late for our ship’s departure at 4:30. All three of the tours (six people) were booked thru Viator with Viator knowing when our ship was scheduled to depart. The tour operator said we had to leave the tour or get back too late for us to get on the ship. No other option. So basically we got kicked off the bus. All three couples had to take a taxi back to the ship. And all of us couldn’t understand how Viator made the same mistake on three different bookings from three different states. We didn’t get to see Madeira and basically wasted the day. We expect a full refund back to our credit card.
