Teija - We spent a wonderful afternoon with Nuno on the west side of the island. I had booked a trip as a birthday surprise for my husband and Nuno planned a varied trip for us, where we saw many new places away from the touristy areas. Expert and well-told guide, great places and a few special surprises! As a nice extra, Nuno took photos of us as a souvenir. We will trust Nuno in the future as well.

A perfect day - We had such a brilliant day with Nuno. He was very easy to communicate with prior to booking and after. He's totally flexible and was able to add in additional stops for us.
I was concerned about my son feeling travel sick and Nuno made sure we had plenty of breaks and I knew he would have no problem if we needed deviate from our plan.
The itinerary for the day was just perfect. On pick up, finding out we hadn't yet been to Funchal he suggested we drive through so we could see a bit of it and get some information. This was a perfect start and allowed us to get our bearings. He knew the best times to get to places so they weren't too busy. The day flowed beautifully.
The landscape and climate is forever changing in Madeira from one valley to the next. Having the open top jeep meant we had a full senses experience. Often being able to smell the abundance of flowers and trees as we drove past, feeling the sun and mist on our skin. It was really quite magical.
I wouldn't hesitate to book Nuno again for a tour when we are next in Madeira.

Madeira Moments!! - Nuno is the absolute BEST tour guide in Madeira! He is the perfect guide companion! Nuno is incredibly knowledgeable about the island of Madeira, providing information about the history and customs, and was even able to offer perfect meal and spa recommendations! The open air vehicle made the tour that much better. Comfortable and fun! We took the West tour and wish we had booked more days with him! He takes photos along the way and shares them with you! Capturing the perfect memories (“moments”). Book him now!

Breathtaking tour of the west side of Madeira - Thank you Nuno for a lovely morning touring the west coast of Madeira. The views were breathtaking. You are very informative and I can highly recommend you. My husband has some mobility issues due to having Parkinson’s but you were very attentive and.factored this into our tour.

West Coast tour and Fanal Forest - West coast + Fanal forest. We booked a full-day tour with Nuno. For a trip and for a guide. Nuno has great knowledge about the island and happily shares it. Although we visited well-known sights that many tourists are visiting, Nuno made sure to keep us away from the busiest times. We got local history from far back in time, which we really appreciate. He explained what is grown in the areas we move through, and why they grow these vegetables/fruit in the areas they do. There are huge climate differences only by driving short distances. When we first met Nuno, it was as if we had known him for a long time. The conversation goes easy and there is a good mood from the start. Nuno gave us tips on what we should taste of the food and drink on the island, and where we should try out the different dishes/drinks. Some are good at fish, some at meat and others at drinks. We really appreciate this.
If it becomes clear to contact Nuno again at the next Madeiratur, then we must choose a tour on another part of the island. A lot to see. Nuno is highly recommended. Svein Tore and Lena

Best way to tour the island! - This is our third visit to Madeira in 3 years! We love it here so much and rarely visit anywhere twice. We booked two tours with Nuno Valente during our stay! A tour with Nuno really is the best way to see the island! We had two amazing tours of the island east side and west side with Nuno and our two girls aged 14 and 12. We thoroughly enjoyed our trips and Nuno made it so personal and special. His knowledge of the island is fantastic. Nuno also recommend some lovely restaurants for us to try during our stay in Funchal and they were all amazing! A tour with Nuno is the only way to see the island!
We can’t wait to come back to beautiful Madeira already and we will definitely be booking another tour with Nuno Valente!

Best private tour(s) Madeira ! - Found online and contacted via whatsapp for more info. Immediately a great contact and good information about what to choose in terms of tours , which car and what the prices are . Chosen to do the west and east tour and what a party that was. Nuno showed us the island for 2 days ( in his amazing classic car) and told us a lot about it. Because Nuno is so spontaneous and open, a friendly atmosphere quickly arises so that the days when we were on the road with the 3 of us were super relaxed. The days are also very varied and he does his best to give the tours a personal touch which makes it extra fun. In short , this is a unique experience to book , you see a lot and hear a lot about the island , nice stops , photo opportunities , places to eat and drink , great transport and all this in good company with Nuno . He has contributed for even more beautiful memories of our holiday ....... thanks for that my friend Nuno !

Tour with Nuno - We went on a tour with Nuno and he is definitely one of the best tour guides!! We enjoyed a tour of the west side of Madeira which was absolutely spectacular. Nuno is very friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable. The pride from where is from shows as he drives you around. You get to see the island's natural beauty and breathtaking landscapes. He'll take photos of you throughout the tour and he shares them with you. He stops for coffee breaks, lunch, and even a local place for some great Poncha! I would highly recommend Nuno to anyone looking for a tour in Madeira and would absolutely book a tour of the east side if/when we come back.
