Excellent Tuk-tuk Tour! - Highly recommend Tuktuking for tours in and around Funchal! Pre-booked easily through GetyourGuide. Good communication - especially on the day/ our arrival in port - easy to find with pick up just 5 minutes from the ship. Ricardo was our guide and was very engaging and enthusiastic with lots of info on what we were seeing. 1st stop was Cabo Girão - glass walkway viewpoint 580m up - amazing views and excellent coffee and cake! Then down to the fishing village of Câmara de Lobos porto for a lovely wander and plenty time for a refreshing Poncha - the fishermen of this village 1st came up with this delicious Rum based ‘pick-me-up’. Then back to wherever we wanted in Funchal. Excellent value and a wonderful way to see more of the beautiful island of Madeira! Take a jacket - it can get cool (though he did have blankets)! Thoroughly enjoyable morning Tuk Yik tour - A Tuk Tuk tour that took us from the Cruise ship port, up to the glass viewing platform and then down to a very picturesque fishing village. The TukTuk driver, Ricardo Silva, was absolutely brilliant, excellent spoken English, talked to us throughout our tour about all of the sights that we passed on our journey. He stopped several times for photo opportunities and finally dropped us off in Funchal old town at the end of the tour as requested. Another highlight was the bar in the fishing village that made really tasty local drinks called Poncha. The bar itself was fully bedecked with Ronaldo memorabilia and owned by a very friendly family. This trip was very worthwhile, especially because of the first class service from Ricardo.

Fun and informative tuktuking with Ricky - Ricky was a fantastic guide - very informative and attentive to detail in a relaxed and friendly way. Original and fun way to visit! - What a wonderful moment! Ricky, our driver and guide, taught us a lot about Madeira and took us to very photogenic places. We had little stopover time, he picked us up at the port and brought us back near the boat. An original and very pleasant way to visit the city!

Nice to see - Lookouts with a glass floor at a height of over 500 meters above sea level are not often seen, so I definitely recommend putting this place on your trip itinerary. But it must be taken into account that many other tourists will have the same idea.
