Horseback trail rides are conducted by two friendly and experienced guides, making them perfect for beginners! These rides take participants through diverse natural eco-communities and terrains, where a rich variety of wildlife, flora, and fauna can be observed. Our well-trained, cheerful horses are eager to carry their riders, ensuring a safe and relaxed experience as you enjoy the sights of the trail and the new bond with your horse.

Throughout the ride, guides provide a wealth of information on the natural, historical, and cultural points of interest within the park, along with fascinating details about the horses you are riding. Exploring up to six miles of trail allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the natural surroundings. Riding through the vibrant forest on horseback offers one of the most unique experiences in all of Central Florida.

• Max Weight: This sliding scale is directly related to the physical requirements needed to maintain safe and appropriate balance while sitting in a saddle. While participants are riding, their center of gravity (and balance) is altered by being elevated in a seated position. We adhere to this requirement because: 1. Participants who fall outside this range are significantly more likely to fall off their horse and injure themselves. 2. Participants who fall outside this range and do not have advanced training and experience in riding techniques, correct riding posture, and correct seated balance in the saddle, cause excess strain on a horse’s back.
