Wonderful tour experience - We booked this boat and castle tour when visiting friends near Clayton in NY. There were a few options, and this tour seemed to offer what we were looking for at a very reasonable price. The boat guide was wonderful, full of information about the area and fun stories. I would suggest sitting close to the boat guide as sometimes it was hard to hear him with all of the river and boat noise. The castle tour was also great, and as someone with some mobility issues, I appreciated the option of riding a golf cart up the hill to the castle, and the fact that there is an elevator in the castle.

Great facts about island history - Great ride! Interesting facts from our tour guide. Loved the boldt castle, would have liked more time there, however, you delivered what we signed up for!

Excellent! - We enjoyed a wonderful and informative ride and castle visit. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. The tour content was extremely interesting. The price was very reasonable. This activity is a bit long and, while it is well suited for adults, I do not recommend this for families with small children. For those with mobility issues: this tour involves a fair amount of walking around, including inclines and declines. There is an elevator in the castle. If listening to someone narrate is not your thing, then this is not for you. Save your money and spare those trying to enjoy the experience and find a simple transport ride. You will thoroughly enjoy this tour if you are interested in the history of the region and its inhabitants.

Lots of History on the St. Lawrence - We were blessed with beautiful weather but a jacket was still a good thing to have. Lots of interesting information about the river, currents, historical events, wildlife, shipwrecks, the 1800+ Islands and who lives on them.

Beautiful - Such a cool place the short film inside of the the room (optional) tells the story so it makes sense . The landscape is wonderful . You are allowed to bring lunch/picnic food and it would be worth it to just sit on the lawn or the picnic tables and take the view in . I went on a sunny day and weather was perfect. Overall a cool spot to visit I did not see the boat house but you can add a ticket and they take you on a tour there.

Great trip with a 5-star tour guide - This is really an excellent tour - and while the scenery was phenomenal, the boat comfortable, and Boldt Castle impressive, and while the October fall weather on Saturday was absolutely perfect - what really made the trip unique was the tour guide, Liam. He is truly one of the best tour guides I have ever listened to, with so many stories, knowledge, and a great attitude - clearly he was enjoying himself and that made the entire trip fun. A really nice afternoon.

Beautiful place with lots of history - Getting to Boldt Castle through boat it’s an experience in itself. The castle is beautifully restored and well taken care of. It was so much fun getting to explore it at our own leisure and it was so interesting learning about its history!

The only challenge was... - The only challenge was that it was hard to hear the guide over the sound of the boat's engine. Aside from that, it was an enjoyable experience.
