Additionally, visitors can walk atop the dam, with breathtaking views of Lake Mead and the river below. This memorable half-day experience showcases an iconic piece of American engineering, supported by Gray Line’s extensive expertise with Hoover Dam tours.
- Infants 23 months and under are considered a lap child
- Children ages 2 years and up require a seat .
- This tour is not recommended for anyone who suffers from claustrophobia, has a pacemaker or defibrillator. Tours are conducted in confined spaces and in a power plant with generators emitting electromagnetic frequencies.
- Collapsible wheelchairs can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark the bus.

Hover Dam Tour - This was the best way to enjoy Hoover Dam Lake Mead, and some other interesting points without having to take your eyes off the road by driving you have someone driving providing great detail details in an interesting manner and of course, added comedy made it all the better! Our driver was Michael and well worth every second of the trip and make sure you tip him well he deserves it!

Great scenery - Very informative and interesting. Great scenery and learn America’s past. See what built four major states.
Only downfall was the bus driver telling you to tip and how much he was expecting.

Perfect tour of the Hoover Dam - The stop at the Lake Mead Overlook was an eye opener. The movie, the inner Dam presentation and the musuem were very educational. And, of course, the views from the outdoor terrace were incredible.

Overall, good. Our tour... - Overall, good. Our tour guide/driver was friendly and knowledgeable. Provided good history while also driving the bus at the same time. Was under the impression that the tour guide and driver would be two different people.
The drive-by of a small town was good. No stops to explore for a bit. Probably because it was super hot (110 degrees with UV Index of 11). The Hoover dam was nice experience. Got to see the turbines.
My criticism is about the bus. It was a small bus with no restroom and barely working AC. Even with the shades down, driving with full AC the bus ride was unbearable and uncomfortable.
Our original schedule was Tuesday but the company cancelled due to low interest and rebooked for Wednesday— on an even hotter day.
I would recommend either the company provide their customers with a comfortable ride with working AC or cancel due to the heat. We felt like we were cheated. By the end I just wanted off the bus so I could cool down.
