The highlight of this tour is undoubtedly the entrance to the Sistine Chapel, where you will be awestruck by Michelangelo’s frescoes, The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment. During this Jubilee Year, access from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter’s Basilica is closed. To visit, you must return to the entrance and follow the Vatican Walls along Viale Vaticano, Via Leone IV, Piazza Risorgimento, and Via di Porta Angelica. From there, anticipate a queue of about 10 minutes, after which you can enter and explore the Basilica independently. The distance is 1 km and takes approximately 20 minutes to walk.
