Adults only - Correct, the Cuban girl who attended us on the super friendly bus, not so the driver, a certain Angelo, who of education and sympathy shines by his absence, as I say one thing I say the other, the Cuban girl (super friendly and Pro license plate), then there was strike of transporters as the girl said. The point is that to go quickly to see the main things gives time, if it is the same as ours, standing in Saint Peter's Square 30 minutes, in the Colosseum about 20 minutes, and in the Trevi Fountain another 20 minutes, then to a restaurant where the Guide suggested us, which I do not remember the name (of the Guide ), you see a Pro girl, and at the same time prepared to do the marathon in record time.
The restaurant, a couple of waiters with faces that owe you money before sitting down (until the owner came up and explained), wanted to lift us off the site because we only ordered 3 pizzas and 6 drinks for 3 children and 3 adults because we had 40 minutes to eat, and there were people who took the pizza in a box. (If you get 60 people to eat at a time, and there are 40 minutes).. advice: take a mouthful of the hotel or cruise and it is more profitable, and go to the bathroom, because if not you barely have time (so you save a couple of discomforts at urination and lunchtime).
I want to think that the strike and that the boat was leaving earlier was the trigger for so much speed...
I do not recommend at least me, excursion with minors who are prepared to walk, and less with young children who need to go to the bathroom (you are charged 1.5 euros for going to the bathroom, at least to me).
With older people with much less trouble walking, as they were left behind 4 people who did not return to the bus, and it is seen that this had never happened, but there is always a first time. The taxi back to civitavechia is very cheap (irony on mode) 150 bowling. If you miss the bus that thank God wasn't my case, that's what a taxi charges you.
It's all the information I can give, there are people who have had a better time than me, and worse too.
Anyway to get in touch with roma, and do a CrossFit session is pretty good.
The best Rome and its monuments (and the Cuban girl on the bus who was a charmer).
The worst part is the face of someone who looks like they're fighting with the world or you owe them money. More joy, that we only live once. It's my humble personal review.

I do not recommend this tour. It's not worth it. - I took this tour on May 1, 2025
- The tour cost around $60 but when I arrived at the meeting point, I found out there was another tour at the same time (combined with this tour) which was 10 euros more, and unless you upgrade to that tour by paying additional 10 Euros, you don't get the speaker/ear buds. So they didn't give me earbuds and I had to stay close to the tour guide (Andres) to hear him.
- The tour guide Andres spoke Spanish most of the time and very little English. His English was marginal.
- When I booked this tour, this information was not disclosed to me.
- I do not recommend this tour.

Not what I signed up for - This felt like a classic bait and switch. We chose the panoramic tour so we could explore on our own and meet back at the bus. They pushed for $15 Euro upgrade for the headset tour which we opted out of. However the only way to get any info about when and where to meet was to follow the entire tour (basically a 5 mile urban road march) with a few minutes at the end to explore. By then we were so fed up we didn’t care to explore. From 9:40 until 3:30 there was one sanctioned bathroom break (and the one on the bus was “out or order”.

Unfortunately went a little differently - We had booked a tour with guide and explanations in German. That was not fulfilled.
Wasn't exactly what we had in mind.

Be prepared to get scammed! - The tour guide in the Bus charged us extra to see the Colosseum, even though it was already included.
The tour guide was very rude.
Lots of walking with no breaks. The tour guide didn't even bother to look if everyone was there.
Never again doing a tour like this.
Everyone was complaining!

Not what we signed up for. - I do not like giving bad reviews as it means that something that I was looking forward to did not meet expectations. However, on this occasion I will make an exception.
My wife and I had booked a Panoramic tour of Rome from Civitavecchia on June 2nd.
When we arrived at the meeting point we were informed that the tour was going to be conducted in German. As neither of us spoke German we were offered a choice of a ride into Rome and self explore and a lift back or what was described as a guided tour by car.
Naturally we availed of the car. Big mistake. The driver only spoke Italian and as well as that we were joined by a lovely Spanish couple who only spoke Spanish.
We drove in silence into Rome and our driver dropped us near the Trevi Fountain. He manage to convey to us by sign language that we should meet at the same spot in 2.5 hours. He then drove us to the Vatican and gave us time to wander around on our own.
He then drove us back to the cruise ship, once more in silence..
We were given the code for an app that described the various sights which we had to find ourselves. All in all a great disappointment.

Left in Rome - My wife booked the trip, from the port where our cruise ship docked to Rome and back (or not). Tour bus dropped us in Rome, but didnt arrive to pick us up to go back to the port. I paid 180 for a Taxi so we didnt miss the ship and this company didnt care at all and wouldn't refund anything. Avoid at all cost

Too much walking - The tour should not be call TOUR BY BUS when you have to do a lot of walking. First we got off bus at Vatican outside the wall and speed walked following a teddy bear on a telescopic stick, around the compound to St Peters Square. Back on the bus to Colosseum where we got off and were instructed that we would be walking to our eventual pick up point at the river, at 3:30 pm. Colosseum to Trevi Fountain is according to Google maps one point six kilometers, the Fountain to the river is at least equal to that. We had been given a map with circle destinations and were instructed by the quide to call him (Andrea) if we run into trouble. Even where he would be from 2:15 to 3:15 having lunch. A number of people must have had trouble because they didn't make it back to our return bus.
It is not a tour for seniors especially when you walk slowly.

Not what is advertised - This tour is not what is advertised. There are only 2 stops, the Vatican and the Colleseum, and a pickup on the other side of the city. The other people on the tour who opted for the $15.00 per person upgrade to a guided tour said it was impossible to keep up if you wanted to take photos. The walking time between sites was difficult due to construction and paths closed. Not what we were expecting or what we paid for.
