Great Overview of the area - What a wonderful way to spend an hour! The drive along the river pointed out great places for a walk later. Without a car, this bus is a great way to see more of the country side.

Enjoyed Inverness - Enjoyed the trip! Fast and convenient to check out the area! Always the best thing to do when we cruise to a port.

Pretty good narration - Once on the bus it was pretty good. Finding the bus schedule was not easy. Couldn’t find it on the website.

Small town may not need bus tour - This is a typical hop on/hop off bus tour. There was nothing wrong with it, but Inverness is pretty small and there's not all that much to see from the bus. You can probably do as well just walking around. However, one leg of the route does get out into the countryside for about 20 min., so that might justify spending the time.

Reasonable - The city has nothing to show. The center is small and only the lake outside it.Then they put this bus, which as it is 24 hours, pays to take a ride in it, get down the lake and then return for 14 pounds.

Inverness 60 minute bus tour - no need to hop off - Took the bus tour as I enjoy these tours when visiting new places. I was a bit disappointed with the Inverness bus tour as it felt more like advertising on the recording on the bus - stop here to eat, stop here to stay, stop here to buy... I much prefer the tours with lots of historical information and there was some of that but not as much as I had hoped. From beginning to end it's only about 60 minutes so need to hop off really. Inverness is so small you can walk around the inner city (town) on foot. if you have decent weather you can take some nice photos from the upper deck

Don’t Order Online - Don’t book online!!! 1/3 the price buying in person. Also, this is NOT your typical Hop On bus. There are only 7 stops, no head phones for description, and more like a city bus. Plus each round trip is 1 hour so if you decide to get off the bus, you only have 1 hour before if arrives for the next stop.

Oh dear! - Inverness is in no way big enough to have an open top bus tour. If you want to see the city then walking really is the best and only choice. Some parts of the city are quite nice and if you walked, stopping in a bar or cafe every now and then you can see all the nice bits in an hour or two. Cut out the refreshments and 10/15 mins should do it! Inverness must think it's Liverpool or Barcelona to have a bus tour! To pad it out to 50 mins or so they take you down residential roads, around the leisure centre car park and some miles out of the city to a Jacobite loch boat trip. We laughed. A lot. It's so ridiculous! Don't waste your money.

Skip the Inverness HOHO tour - This could have been so much better. First, there was very little hopping on or off. I guess we thought they would stop more often but it seems they just breezed on by the stops. Some of the audio (which was taped, not live) was hard to match to what we were seeing. The audio would tell us something but not direct us where to look, so much was lost here. Then, the bus driver had no knowledge of anything, so he was useless. We basically rode around on a bur for an hour with little to no information that was useful.

Don't bother - A total waste of time. I learned that Inverness once had a mental hospital and little else. We walked around the city later and liked it but the hop-on hop-off was a waste of money.
