• Cataguas Island - Among the islands in Angra dos Reis, in Rio de Janeiro, Cataguás (or Cataguases) is the one that is closest to the continent, so it often becomes the most touristy island. To access it, you must go by boat or while closing a boat or schooner ride. The island is only 10 minutes from the city center, and is one of the common stops offered by the tour agencies.
