Delicious and fun - A lovely experience here in Tokyo! We started with a quick look at an amazing temple, then it’s just a street walk to the fish market. We wandered through all the small shops and eateries and had plenty of time with our guide Aki to taste the extensive selection of sweet and savory treats on offer. A short bus ride brought us to the cooking school, where Akiko did an amazing job teaching us how to make our own miso soup from scratch. Then we made sushi rice, and the marvelous tamago egg omelette. Then both a rolled sushi and nigiri-style sushi. Our guides were patience, informative, and a real delight. Arigato!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Tsukiji Fish Market & Sushi Experience! - Our guide, Akiko, was absolutely amazing—warm, kind, and so much fun! She walked us through Tsukiji with infectious energy, introducing us to stall after stall of delicious bites we never would’ve found on our own. Each stop felt like a little foodie treasure hunt, and Akiko made the history and culture of the market come alive. The day didn’t end there—she handed us off to an incredible sushi-making class led by a true sushi sensei. It was equal parts informative and entertaining, and by the end we were rolling (and eating!) sushi like pros. If you’re visiting Tokyo, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Between Akiko’s kindness, the endless flavors, and the sushi workshop, it’s the perfect mix of food, fun, and culture. Don’t miss it!

Great was to explore and spend the first part of your day in Tokyo with the Tsukiji Market and Sushi making - What a fun way to start the day. Akiko gave us an awesome tour of the Tsukiji Market. Our group hadn't booked any previous guided tours so it was relaxing to freely ask questions and explore the market. Akiko wad very nice and kind and had goof humor. After a tour of the market she introduced us to her associate Hiroko who lead the cooking close. Hiroko was very kind and fun. I've tried to make sushi at home before with troubles but Hiroko showed us all the techniques to make it easy and guided us through thr process and helped us make our own sushi to eat for lunch. I'd highly recommend exploring the market and Japanese sushi culture this way.

Very good - We went in September. Our tour, Tatsie, showed us the market area and gave a brief history of the area. We then took a public bus guided by Tastsie (since commuting is very confusing to foreigners like us) to the cooking school where we get a cooking lesson with Megumi. We made a few japanese items. I would name them but I can't remember the proper names for them. Then we ate everything we made. Tatsie and Megumi was very good and I recommend them.
