The pilot will highlight the severely damaged ChristChurch Cathedral and the nearby Transitional Cathedral that has temporarily replaced it. Fly over the new sports stadium and discover the city’s future vision.

As the flight heads towards the coast, hover over Lyttelton Harbour (Whakaraupo) and admire the volcanic coves and bays of the Banks Peninsula from above. The return journey skirts the outskirts of Christchurch, including the suburbs of Sumner and Redcliffs, where affluent residents also faced the devastation of New Zealand’s second deadliest natural disaster.
