Fabulous Day Tour - Highly recommend this Sheep Farm Day trip, it was an insight into a typical sheep farming operation, great views, and a shed displaying old farming machinery. Fabulous individual boxed lunch with tea & Coffee. Enjoyed our stop off at the winery and our tour bus driver was so informative of the region. Great day out for all....

No brainer day trip - Definitely recommend. Simon, tour guide, was quite knowledgeable and personable. Each stop will put a smile on your face from Donnie the horse to the quality wine tasting. The sheep farm of course is the highlight. Enjoy.

Arizonans visit New Zealand - Absolutely wonderful tour; we only had 5!in our group so it was a small & intimate experience! Simon was outstanding, super-friendly and informative!! We booked just one day beforehand in a whim, totally worth the impromptu tour! So much greenery!! We learned so much!

Great Day Trip to the Sheep Farm, Antique Tracker Collection, Visit with Donnie the American Miniature and wine tasting. - We had a very nice time on our Glenafric Farm tour a couple days ago. One of the things that was very interesting and made this trip even better was the Antique Tracker Collection that we got to spend some time viewing and asking questions. Again, an OUTSTANDING visit to the Glenafric Farm, and all the other places we also had a chance to visit that day. At the Farm we had a nice visit with two of the owners and got to watch an interesting show of how Shearing is done nowadays at a smaller family run farm. We also had a chance to watch the herding dogs in action, which is very impressive, and they surely work hard to keep all the sheep moving along in the right direction, and at the right time. Our Driver / Guide was also great! He really knows all about the entire area, and was so good at keeping things on track that day. Oh yes, we can't forget to mention good old Donnie, the American Miniature who is so friendly and willing to eat carrots from all of us. But... then what American Miniature wouldn't be interested in eating as many carrots as people are willing to give him! The provided lunch was also very large and tasty, and even came with some edible flowers from the garden of the person that makes this incredible lunch. Thanks again, Kurt and Betty

Enjoyable Private Tour of a Family-owned Sheep Farm - This was a great look into a family-run sheep farm. I was very happy that the tour was not cancelled even though I was the only person on the tour, due to a cruise ship not arriving in Christchurch as expected. I got to watch sheep herding, sheep shearing, and the highlight of my bottle feeding a lamb. Tour included a stop to pick up a box lunch and to feed Donnie, an American Miniature pony.
