Challenging weather_Great Guide! - I am a photographer who went for a walk with Heidi specifically to capture images. She arrived for our appointment on time and, although the weather was less than ideal for photography I could not have been more pleased with our tour. Heidi's creative eye really made a challenging weather day into a very successful shoot. Her local knowledge and engaging personality made this a very memorable experience. I would without reservation recommend Heidi as a tour/photographic guide and I will certainly try to book her again on my return.

Amazing Godley Head hike - We enjoyed a beautiful and memorable hike on Godley Head with our knowledgeable, professional and engaging guide Nicole. Nicole can fully outfit your group if you like, from packs and water bottles to walking sticks. She gave us a good briefing before the hike and along the way so we knew what to expect. Godley Head is an open trail so there are amazing views all the way. At the summit there are old WWII fortifications and the opportunity to refill water bottles and use restrooms. We were a bit ahead of schedule so Nicole took us to a secluded beach picnic site for a delicious lunch she provided. Just a stunning day from beginning to end and highly recommended.

Godley Head Loop with Heidi Anderson — highly recommended! - Our first full day in New Zealand (after traveling 24+ hours from Phoenix, Arizona), Heidi Anderson picked us up at our lodge in Christchurch for a private guided half-day hike on the Godley Head Loop Track. I was afraid we’d be too jet-lagged for the adventure, but Heidi (a fitness instructor!) was patient with our relatively leisurely pace, my occasional requests to take a “breather,” and my compulsion to take lots of photos. While we ooh’d and ahh’d over the spectacular coastal views, Heidi entertained us with stories about the historical landmarks (e.g., Scott’s Cabin, WWII gun platforms and military batteries) and general background on the beaches and geological formations. While we weren’t fortunate enough to see any seals, whales, or penguins during our hike, we truly enjoyed the breathtaking views and were grateful for Heidi’s informative presence!

Fabulous experience - Nicole was such a pleasant, knowledgable, thoughtful host. She provided us the most delicious picnic lunch and scenery I can ever remember having. This may be the prettiest walk I've ever done around the world. I loved learning from Nicole and highly recommend this guided walk.

Great Guide , great Itinerary, spectacular scenery and very good value. - The most spectacular and enjoyable Walk/Hike round the beautiful Crater rim.
Hosted by Nicole who was incredibly professional, kind and considerate as well as being a font of knowledge about local history, the Geographic rock formations and local wild life.
Starting with a lovely coffee and brief description of the walk , we did a long hike in very manageable stretches at our own pace with a brief snack break and lovely picnic lunch , prepared and supplied by the company. The provision of walking poles and complimentary Drinks flask were most welcome and appreciated.
Couldn’t praise highly enough.
