Amazing! - The tour exceeded my expectations, the New Zealand landscapes are fantastic! The company provides a great service from start to finish, punctual for the start, a very flexible schedule, the car is comfortable and has Wi-Fi. The guide Joseph was great in providing relevant information at all the stops.

Long day , great scenery - We had a good day ! Had reservations the start as we didn’t want to jet boat as had already done it elsewhere but the little museum was interesting and the sheep friendly. After this stop we drove up to castle hill which was amazing and had a good walk around it and a nice sandwich lunch . Onto Arthur’s pass reserve which was stunning . Stopped at the top of the pass to see the Kea but they weren’t coming out fortunately they were hanging out by the cafe and we saw quite a few . There is plenty of time to do the walk to the waterfall which is worth it and then the little waterfall behind the church . Some of our group had booked to go back by train we hadn’t but the route is virtually identical appart from a couple of tunnels as we followed Road alongside the train track. We were back by 7 pm those on the train were about 45 mins behind us . It was nice to sit back and let someone else take the strain of driving . Jacob our driver was interesting and informative . Jacob went out of his way and dropped us back at our hotel which was very nice .

Arthur's pass and Castle Hill - It was a long day of travel but well worth it to see all the spectacular views of the mountain side. The hike up to the waterfall was challenging but well worth it. Overall a wonderful trip to take and one that you shouldn't miss.

I would do it again and again - The tour guide Clive was excellent very talkative and also very kind. The tour had so many stops to spots where we took some pictures. Loved the quirky cafe b&b. Highly recommend it.

Would highly recommend this tour - Totally enjoyed our tour. First time to see those places. It was great to be amongst God’s beautiful nature and wildlife. Didn’t expect the Kea bird to be friendly. A bit too friendly actually but was eventually harmless anyway. Had enough time to totally enjoy the scenic beauty of each place. Our tour driver was really knowledgeable, helpful, polite, great… just wanted to apologise because I have forgotten his name. We did the tour on Oct 16, 2024, please pass on our thanks to him for making the journey enjoyable & memorable.

Well worth the trip - Our guide Paul made our journey very smooth and memorable! Started off with an immaculate and clean van, being handed Kiwi snacks (a great range of goodies). Whilst we didn't do the Jet Boating, our friend did and had a great time. The couple at Alpine Jets were very warm and welcoming. (The lunch the lady made was scrumptious too) Castle Hill was definitely our highlight due to the fresh snow. The track is fairly easy to get through. Devil's Punchball Waterfall was worth the gazillion stairs up and down! Overall, despite a long day, it was quite relaxed and weren't rushed at any of our stops. Highly recommend going with Cheeky Kea Tours, this was our second tour and definitely not disappointed.

A long but worthwhile day trip - This excursion is a long day, but with many sights along the way it doesn’t feel Ike too much driving. Paul was a very nice driver who had lots of interesting facts to tell us. Castle hill was definitely the highlight.

Terrible experience, will never travel with this agency again! - Terrible experience with this agency. My trip was affected by a scrub fire. At the pick-up point in the early morning, The tour guide explained tt it would mostly be a trip on the coach, confirming that I can get a FULL REFUND if I’m not joining. However, Cheeky Kea Tours rejected my refund request on the next day. Aft multiple emails, the agency only agreed to 50% refund as a “gesture of goodwill”. Make a recording when this agency promise you verbally. They can take back their words easily!
