  • Drill Hall Beach - Offers basic surf instruction and beginner surf lessons. Participants will be picked up and taken to the best surf spot of the day for an introduction to surfing. A surf instructor will be in the water providing guidance for 2 hours. It is essential that participants know how to swim. The minimum age requirement is 10 years old.

Best Experience ever! - Honestly the best experience ever… went from zero experience, completely afraid to actually catching waves and feeling alittle more confident, the teacher was great and made the whole thing so much fun!

Fun!! - My daughter had a wonderful morning with the team, she had surfed before but still had lots to learn, the guys were fun, attentive and supportive, Axe was great with her but he really looked out for some younger kids that were there too. Definitely worth booking with them.

Axe is super cool and... - Axe is super cool and informative surf coach. Picked us up from the hotel on time and we got to the beach very quickly. Got started as soon as we got in the beach to maximize our time ib the water. All pointers and coaching helped me improve throughout the lesson. Was catching waves consistently. Conversation was better than the coaching haha. Made sure my lady and I felt safe anf had fun. Will be back when im in Barbados and recommend this is the surf lesson to anyone interested.

- Best thing we did on the island! We booked a lesson for two adults and an 11 year old who hadn’t been on a board before. Russell and his team are helpful, friendly and go way out of their way to make sure everyone’s having a great time. Our son was standing on the board within 5 minutes and had an incredible time, so much so he begged us to go back for a second lesson a few days later. Everyone in our group of 8 got up on the board including kids and adult first timers. We surfed Pebbles and Dover beaches - the team knew the breaks and conditions perfectly so that by the end of the second lesson we were choosing waves and getting up independently. This is an amazing family business, Lance and Axe are brilliant patient teachers, high energy and laid back at the same time, fantastic with the kids in the group. We felt safe and really well looked after. All smiles all round.

A little Hawaii in Barbados - The favorite thing my kids did in Barbados. Our instructor (Lance) was super cool, easygoing, and gave a ton of helpful feedback to help us figure it all out. The reef is shallow and I scraped both elbows a bit but all in all a great lesson.

Great day - Amazing! Highly recommend! Instructor Mathew initially taught me to surf few years back! This year surf instructor Axe very knowledgeable, hospitable and a great teacher. Always a great day out on the holiday!

Awesome surfing lessons and people - Since my son and I had surfed before, we booked a private session. It was fantastic. The guys picked us up from the place we were staying, helped us pick boards that would work well for the conditions that day, and took us to their favorite spot. We surfed for a couple hours and had a great time. Cain was our instructor and he gave us good tips and was super cool and nice. We then rented some boards from them for the rest of our stay. Hope to come back to this beautiful island and surf with these guys again.

Perfect day surfing drill hall - Surfed drill hall / Brandon’s beach today with Axe and Matthew. Perfect Wave scouts and advisors. They find more and better waves out there than you can surf. Can only recommend dread or dead!

Trip highlight 😎 - Had a great experience on 1:1 surf lessons with Axe - so much fun, learned loads and saw my confidence and surfing progressing over several lessons.
