MK Kojimachi Building - Enter the realm of the samurai—not merely as an observer, but as a warrior in training.
In this engaging experience at a traditional dojo in Tokyo, participants will learn authentic techniques used by Edo-period samurai. Under the guidance of expert instructors, they will practice essential sword movements with a wooden sword, followed by one-on-one training that mimics real combat scenarios—learning to react, evade, and counter just like the warriors of the past.
However, samurai training encompasses more than just swordsmanship. Participants will also explore the philosophy of Bushido through etiquette, breathing, and meditation—enhancing not only the body but also the mind and spirit.
Halfway through the training, enjoy a serene break with genuine matcha green tea and Japanese sweets, served in a tranquil, traditional setting—offering a delightful taste of Japanese culture to the warrior journey.
Dressed in traditional samurai attire, participants will not only train but embody the role. This is not a performance or a tourist attraction—this is a unique opportunity to experience and embrace the samurai spirit firsthand.
All instruction is provided in English. No previous experience is required.
Ideal for couples, friends, or families traveling together.
