- Mt. Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station - The 5th Station of Mt. Fuji is a popular starting point for climbers and tourists. This station is located at about 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level.
It offers amenities such as restrooms, shops, restaurants, and even lodging options. It’s a great place to acclimate to the altitude before starting the climb.
Even if you don’t plan to climb, the 5th Station provides stunning views of the surrounding areas, including the Japanese Alps and, on clear days, views of Tokyo and the Pacific Ocean.
For those climbing to the summit, this is a common starting point. From here, the ascent to the summit usually takes about 5-7 hours.
The Shuttle Service starts for Mt.Fuji 5th Station in 6th of July till 10th September every year during Hiking season. The Shuttle service fee ¥ 2500 Japanese ( $20USD ).

- Chureito Pagoda - Chureito Pagoda, part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine complex, is a renowned five-story pagoda located in Fujiyoshida, Japan. It’s famously known for its picturesque views of Mt. Fuji, especially during the cherry blossom season in spring and the vibrant autumn foliage.
The pagoda offers one of the most iconic views of Mt. Fuji, often framed by cherry blossoms in spring or colorful leaves in autumn. The best photography spot is from a viewing platform a short walk up the hill.
It is located about 400 steps up from the base, so be prepared for a bit of a climb.
The pagoda was built in 1963 as a peace memorial to honor the soldiers from Fujiyoshida who died in wars.
Spring (for cherry blossoms) and autumn (for fall colors) are the most popular times to visit. However, it offers stunning views throughout the year, including snow-capped Mt. Fuji.
- Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai is a set of eight beautiful ponds located in the village of Oshino, near Mt. Fuji in Japan. These ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mt. Fuji that has filtered down through the mountain over several decades, resulting in exceptionally clear and pure water. Oshino Hakkai is a popular destination for both tourists and locals due to its scenic beauty and cultural.
The eight ponds are named Deguchi, Okama, Sokonashi, Choshi, Waku, Nigori, Kagami, and Shobu. Each pond has its own unique features and historical significance.
The water in the ponds is incredibly clear, allowing visitors to see to the bottom. The ponds are also home to various fish and aquatic plants.
Oshino Hakkai has been designated as a National Natural Monument and is part of the Fujisan Cultural Site, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area is rich in traditional Japanese architecture, including thatched-roof houses and small shrines.

Lake Ashinoko Sky Line - Lake Ashinoko, also known as Lake Ashi, is a scenic lake in the Hakone area of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. It is the stunning view of Mount Fuji, the surrounding mountains and its hot springs.
A historic Shinto shrine located on the shores of the lake, known for its iconic red torii gate that appears to float on the water.
