Lovely Mt Fuji day 🤩🙏🎌 - We loved the 3 chosen spots. Our guide Mr Sandy has been very friendly and communicative. An amazing day to enjoy the greatness of Mt Fuji.

Awesome tour guide, but we missed out on the hot springs - This tour is great for getting awesome pictures of Mount Fuji. Our guide Christy spoke three languages and was incredible. Sweet, helpful, knowledgable, everything you'd want from a tour guide. My only complaint is about the hot springs that I didn't get to go to. I asked a Viator representative before booking if I would be allowed in the hot springs with my tattoos. They said that they contacted the tour company and they said I would be able to go, so I went ahead and booked. When we got there, I asked Christy and she was so sweet to call the hot springs to check for me, and they said I was not able to enter. Luckily, there was an alternate option to go on a boat tour on Lake Yamanaka, which was a surprising highlight of the tour. You get to ride on a very nice boat where you get great views of the mountain. It was a great photo opportunity, and once we got off, Christy was kind enough to offer to take photos of my mom and I with Mt. Fuji in the background. I am still disappointed that I didn't get to the hot springs, but the boat was a nice consolation. I tried to do my due diligence because I know how strict Japanese onsens can be about tattoos, and being given the wrong information by the tour operator and Viator representative was a big negative. One other thing to note, the cost of activities at each stop are not included in the price. Most of the stops require you to buy a ticket which usually cost around 1000 yen. Not a ton of money, but definitely something to consider. All in all, a great experience and would probably have been even better if I could have gone to the onsen. I wish I could rate Christy as a guide because she would get a 5 out of 5.

Good day trip from Tokyo - It was a worthwhile day trip and I recommend it for anyone visiting Tokyo. Damon was our tour guide and was quite impressive speaking 3 languages for the group. The only downside was the microphone not working properly on the bus and cutting in and out though Damon was professional and was able to still offer us a good tour.

Mt. Fuji Dec 2024 - Mario was an excellent tour guide. It was quite impressive watching him speak 3 languages fluently, English, Chinese, and Japanese. The tour of Mt. Fuji surrounding area was incredible this time of year im December. Crystal clear views at each of our 3 stops. We also stopped for a 30 minute lunch which was pre-coordinated by Mario while on the bus. Bring yen, as the lunch, vendors and duck boat only take cash. I booked a solo tour at 8pm the night before for 9,100 yen and the meetup locations were in the heart of Tokyo, near my hotel so super convenient. Although you don't find out until after the booking, you are able to bring luggage and stow it under the bus, which is convenient because I had to head to the airport immediately after the tour. The restaurant choice was great and the food was good. We had traditional dining seats, cross legged but you can ask for a table if you prefer. The temple we visited was awesome, great cardio workout going up and some uneven gravel. Bring a portable power bank as there are very few places to charge your mobile.
