It was a great experience! - It was a fun and great learning experience for my daughter and I. Our tour guide, Saori was very nice and toured us around Akihabara. That was helpful as each places in Tokyo can be overwhelming. She asked us what we were interested in learning about the place and was very knowledgeable. She then took us grocery shopping for the items we need to make ramen. We took a short train ride to their studio and met our instructor, Hiroko. She was very patient with us as we learned how to make our own ramen noodles from scratch, along with the broth, pork belly and vegetables. The studio was very clean as well. It was a memorable experience and glad my daughter and I were able to do their class. We can’t wait to make ramen at home!

This by far the was best... - This by far the was best cooking class we have taken. The whole adventure from beginning to end was excellent. The kitchen and staff were great and spoke good English. Our guide was full of so much information. She allowed us to feel like a local. She took the time to introduce us to many of the vendors and explain the history of the sites we were seeing. We especially enjoyed our encounter with the 95 year old gentleman in the market. She was so good at explaining the unique fruits and vegetables in the local grocery store. Upon arrival at the kitchen we were met with an equally great host. So many questions were answered and the actual making of the ramen noodles exceeded any and all expectations. I can not give this experience more than five stars but if I could it would be a solid ten.

A lovely experience with great guides and instructors - A wonderful experience thoroughly enjoyed by myself and my family (wife and 12 year old son). We were met at Akihabara station by our guides Aki and Saori. Then we were taken for a short tour of the area before going to a local supermarket. Ingredients were bought and then we caught a subway to the kitchen where we were met by our cooking instructors Kyoko and Mari. They explained everything to us very patiently as we hand made our ramen noodles , mixing and kneading the dough, then cutting them into thin noodles. We also prepared the chasu (pork) and soy sauce based soup. The experience was lovely with each step being carefully explained. They were very patient with our son. Finally, we got to eat our ramen. The broth was salty but light, the noodles were chewy with a great texture. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a cooking experience. We plan on trying to cook this dish at home.
