Your guide will provide you with an illustrated map of Edo city from the 1650s.

Accompanied by a government-licensed guide, you will explore the Sakurada Gate, the bridges leading to the main entrance of the Imperial Palace, and the former Edo Castle, now known as the Imperial Eastern Garden. This 5.4 km walk will take approximately 2.5 hours.

As you pass through gates, huts, stone walls, moats, and bridges, you can let your imagination wander about what Edo Castle once was.
