Good collection of great tours and guides. Although the office management is quite improveable I recommend it 100% - On our way through Munnar in early August we did three tours with Munnar Info. 1. Tea plantation, factory and tasting tour We did it in the afternoon and it rained a lot (full monsoon season in August). It was quite uncomfortable to end up completely soaked, although good thing King Raja accompanied us, who was very attentive at all times and even loaned us a raincoat that he had in his backpack. The activity begins with a walk through the plantation, which you must reach with your own transport. Afterwards, it is also necessary to travel on your own to the factory for the guided tour and tea tasting, and at the end return to the village from there. If you are in a tuk-tuk, it is advisable to warn the driver to wait for you during the whole tour. 2. Trekking at dawn to the top of Meesapulimala One of the great moments of our trip: spectacular and 100% recommended. Access to the base camp is by jeep around 4 a.m. (travel time of just over an hour). After a short stop for tea, we started the walk. The first climb was demanding, especially for the early hour, but when we reached the first peak we could see the sunrise after Meesapulimala, surrounded by silence, incredible landscapes and mountain goats. From there we continue to the top, enjoying views of the highlands, the valley and even tiger tracks. The natural border between Tamil Nadu (clear) and Kerala (Covered in clouds and leafy green) was clearly visible. Our guide was impeccable: attentive, professional and even surprised us with a small snack at the summit. The return was made by another trail, which made the route circular, and at the end we were offered a typical breakfast with Puttu and homemade Kadala Curry, plus fresh fruit, prepared by a local lady. The jeep tour by day allowed us to enjoy the views of the valley. An unforgettable experience. 3. Trekking through the forest and waterfall visit We booked this tour the previous afternoon on WhatsApp and, although we discovered that it was not exactly what we had booked, thanks to King Raja and Ganesh it ended up being a fantastic day. We walked through the woods as they explained us about local plants, anecdotes and customs of the area. We had a picnic by the river with tea prepared by the guide and homemade sweets from his wife, a very special detail. Then we climbed a large rock with beautiful views and closed the day with the visit to the Cinnamon Spices Garden, where we explained in detail the spices they grow, their properties and uses, and where we could also buy Ayurvedic spices and oils. About Munnar Info Although the tours were very good and the guides exceptional, we believe that the Munnar Info office should improve communication and organization: warn of the high probability of rain in the afternoons in monsoon season, explain clearly the logistics of transportation on the tea tour, clarify which activities are not done in rainy season and avoid confusion with similar tour names in brochures and web. With these improvements, the experience would be round.

Beautiful views - Great trek with beautiful views. Moderate difficulty, can be done in 3 - 4 hours with breaks. Our guide and driver Amruth was very helpful and punctual, and answered any questions we had. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an active morning in Munnar.

Great hike with beautiful sunrise and scenery. - Booked a 2 day hiking trip to the top of mount Meesapulimala including a stay in the KFDC basecamp. The guide was knowledgeable, spoke English and liked to talk and entertain us. This made the experience even better. Food at the camp (dinner and breakfast) was good. Visited the waterfall on the first day. Nice views from there. The sunrise on the following day at the mountain was amazing!
