Dolphin Delight! - We saw many, many dolphins up close in the inlet. It was a beautiful day for November and the natural habitat scenery was spectacular.

Beautiful sunset and lots of great nature viewing! - We took advantage of a beautiful warm sunny October day and did the sunset cruise. Captain Shane was very welcoming and shared a lot of his local knowledge and person experiences with the ponies, fishing, and living on the lsland. He took us to a lot of different places and got us great looks at the oyster beds, shorebirds, and a roosting bald eagle. We also spend 10-15 minutes spotting dolphins and got within 20 feet or so. The sunset was beautiful. Only negative was not seeing the ponies.

A wonderful way to see the sunset - The sunset cruise was really nice. Captain Shane new all the history and was willing to answer all my questions. It was a small group so we didn't get the larger boat and the ride was a little rougher, but that didn't detract from the trip. I highly recommend a sunset cruise. Seeing the wildlife and especially the ponies was magical.

Do NOT! - I am sorry to write a poor review, but I advise you not to take this tour. The boat is extremely uncomfortable with no padding on the seats. Too many people were crammed on although the captain claimed that the number was fine. Well, he was standing. In addition the seats sit so low and the railing is so high, that you can see very little. You are not allowed to stand up so it is impossible to take any photos. The captain was fine and told interesting stories of the area, but I was in so much pain that it was difficult to care. I was literally counting the minutes until the tour finished and I could hardly stand up when it was over. Pick a better boat and have a better tour. You can see your view from the attached photo.
