Highlights
  • Valle Nevado - This ski center is the main mountain resort in the Andes Mountains and is open all year round.
Valle Nevado, the largest ski center in South America, is located 46 kilometers east of Santiago de Chile. It has an excellent quality of snow, due to its height and orientation and a privileged climate, with 80% of clear days in the season.
The history of Valle Nevado begins in 1987 and in 1988 the doors of this ski center opened, located in the middle of the Andes, inspired by the Les Arcs winter resort and the winter resorts of France.
Since 1998, Valle Nevado began to develop as a comprehensive center and in 2001 the Andes Express chairlift was inaugurated, the first detachable lift in South America, which distinguishes it from other ski centers in the region.

  • Farellones - Nestled in a valley in the Andes, Farellones has numerous wooden houses and cabins, which give it a village atmosphere. Its cable car system takes winter sports lovers to the ski slopes of Cerro El Colorado, serving families and beginner and experienced skiers. In summer, outdoor adventure fans can follow the biking and hiking trails, and go ziplining. The neighborhood has rustic hotels and nice restaurants.

Excellent ride! - Excellent walk, amazing views! We went with guide Ivan Suarez, all flawless. The day before confirmed the pick-up schedule and the day of the ride was giving your location. It gave us different options to make, as well as the time and place of meeting. I totally recommend it!! Ana and Fernando from Uruguay

Beautiful and divine - It's a worthwhile trip, especially for those who have never had experience with snow. I was enchanted by the landscape.

Valle Nevado & Farellones - Our friendly guide Eric collected us from our hotel at the agreed time. We had a good journey up into the Andes, enjoying breathtaking scenery. One of the highlights for us was our picnic lunch in the Andes looking up at a glacier, Absolutely stunning. Eric was a font of knowledge and his English was excellent, he was kind and considerate going out of his way to make sure all the group were comfortable. It was also a plus to be collected and dropped back to our hotel.

Full day birding to the snow fields - We travelled with Albatross tours to the mountains looking for wildlife particularly birds. The night before it snowed in the mountains which added to the trip. We were fortunate to see Condors up close - an unexpected bonus this time of year. Our guide and driver were excellent and we would use again without hesitation.

Tour to Valle Nevado - Great opportunity to visit Farallones and Valle Nevado, and enjoy a sunny day on the snow in one of the top skiing places on the Andes. We rented a sled and spent the day sliding down the mountains, enjoying the great views from there:)

Amazing full day experience at the Andean Mountains - TAC Turismo communicated very well about the tour before, during and after. Our tour guide Cristian was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He went the extra step to make sure that everyone was comfortable. We had a fantastic day at Valle Nevado n Farallones where we had a good lunch. Cristian took us to a place to se the Andean Condors, that was priceless!

Not enough time to ski - This tour is more of a sightseeing tour than a day on the slopes. You start very early, and our pick up was on time and conveniently from our AirBnB. We got taken to a ski hire place, which was a bit chaotic, but we hired everything we needed. The guide could have helped a bit more by explaining how the place works, but instead was nowhere to be seen. When we got to Valle Nevado at about 10am we were told that we have until 12pm and we protested and were extended to 1pm. By the time we found lockers and bought ski passes, another hour had gone, as the resort was busy. Again, the guide was nowhere to be found and never explained what's where. We finally got on the slopes and then texted the guide that we wanted to stay longer and ski and that we were not interested in having lunch at Fallerones. She said, they'd pick us up at 2pm. We still can't understand what the hurry was and why we could't ski until at least 3pm. All in all - if you are planning to ski, don't take this tour. It is not worth it. It is better to hire a car and just drive up to the fields and stay as long as you want.

Disrespect and crime against the consumer, - On the 28th we bought 2 tours to Farellones. Another company came to pick us up and Tac didn't say anything about it. We arrived in Farellones and they hadn't bought our tickets, which we had already paid for. We had to wait in line and pay for the ticket again because the company simply didn't respond or answer calls. We bought the ticket with a 15% discount for buying on the spot. Upon arriving in Santiago we spoke to their collaborative company Chiletour who paid the full amount. The company TAC, however, got in touch asking us to refund part of the amount because we paid for the ticket at a discount, in other words, they wanted to POCKET our discount for having purchased the ticket on the spot and doing the work that they didn't do. We refused and they TOLD THE GUIDE TO LEAVE US 1 BLOCK BEFORE THE HOTEL AND WALK! They sent me messages calling me a thief! Guys, seriously, the worst company I've ever seen in my life!!!!

The worst experience, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT - I would never recommend this company and I think that not even you, they were unfulfilled, they never arrived, I wasted my time and it was never valued, the solution was always thought of in the operator never in the client, bad service and I will tell my group of people how bad it was. I passed it because of its operator
