Fantastic private tour, would highly recommend - We had a fantastic day with Carlos our tour guide. Gave us an informative tour and took some great photos along the way. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a luxury couple tour. I’d recommend listening to their advice of getting there as early as possible as it was so nice and quiet.

Carlos impeccable tour guide - This was an absolutely incredible experience, from the beginning of the trip, being greeted with a massive smile and cold water, it just set the tone out for the day. A long ride to Chichén but honestly chatting with Carlos made time fly, and it’s like a guided tour on the way too. We arrived super early and were one of the first in at 8:00am, and toured around before getting busy at 9:30-10:00. After chichen Itzá we went to a cenotè which was amazing, Carlos took the best videos and pictures of us with we will cherish forever Everything about our day was excellent and our tour guide was the best we could have asked for, extremely informative, attentive and overall a great person, no questions were unanswered. We would 10000% recommend this tour to anyone, and the private tour is such a touch

This trip is a must! - Our tour guide Arnulfo was very knowledgeable and friendly. The private tour is definitely the way to go, we got to spend as much time as we wanted at each attraction. Chichen Itza is a must and swimming in the Cinote was the kids (16 and 18) favorite part of the entire vacation. Book this, you will not regret it.

Fantastic visit with the most entertaining, enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide - We just returned from our private tour with Juan. Wow! He is so knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and Chichen Itza. He had story after story about growing up at Chichen Itza and his work as an archeologist over the past several decades. We were picked up at 630 from our hotel in Playa del Carmen and arrived at the ruins before the big crowds. Juan knew all about the details on the ruins and explained everything with so much enthusiasm. We could tell he really enjoys sharing the history of his people. Then it was off to the cenote, a quick 20 min drive. Again, we were there before the crowds and it was beautiful and amazing. The water temperature was about 78 * F, which felt great after the heat of the ruins. Valladolid town was our next stop where we had the most amazing, authentic, delicious lunch at Paladar de Cura restaurant. Juan made menu suggestions and had placed our order ahead of time so it was ready when we arrived. We strolled around the cute town for about 25 min and then headed back home. I cannot recommend Juan enough for his professionalism and great knowledge of the Mayan culture. What an honor to spend the day with him.

The right way to do it - Amazing tour. Our Guide Jaun was extremely knowledgeable and provided us with a rich history of the area. He ensured we had the best experience possible. We arrived early and had the place nearly to ourselves before the tour buses and crowds arrived. The Cenote and rope swing was awesome. Also had that to ourselves. Then Lunch- WOW the food was super delicious as he consulted us and called in the order ahead of time so it was hot and ready when we arrived. All red carpet. If you want a unique experience and enjoy low stress and being pampered - this is for you.

We went on this tour... - We went on this tour during our honeymoon and had such a great time! Totally worth the private experience - we could ask questions and go at our own pace. Truly a wonderful day seeing a world wonder! The lunch in Valladolid was delicious - staying in an all-inclusive it was great to get local food for lunch. The Oxman cenote was also so refreshing annd relaxing after a day sight-seeing.

This was a private tour... - This was a private tour of Chichen Itza, Oxman cenote and lunch in Valladolid. We had a Mercedes car, which was very comfortable for the two of us. Juan Benicio, our driver and guide, was very punctual, and had a lot of information to share, in an engaging way. He had a lot of stories to tell as well about his archaeological experience. We also left Cancun early so we got to Chichen Itza just after it opened, but it did get very busy very quickly. The site is great, though the large crowds and tour buses does detract - so it was extra nice to have a private tour. Overall, while the site was nice, I wasn't overwhelmed by it. Oxman Cenote was amazing. Lifejackets are provided (and are mandatory). There is a ladder to walk into the cenote, or a rope swing that you hang off to jump into the water. Incredible experience. Lunch was at an average restaurant where another tour group also came in, so it is clearly part of the well-trodden path. We had a bit of time to walk around Valladolid too, but because we spent extra time at the cenote we didnt have much time - that didn't bother us though. It was also full of that circuit of tourists that came from Chichen Itza and/cenotes nearby, so that made it lose some of its charm. In conclusion, glad we did this tour privately but other than the cenote, not sure I would necessarily recommend this excursion. Juan Benicio was very entertaining and flexible though, so that was a big plus. If you want to do this trip (i.e. the destinations listed) and can afford the premium rate, it is worth it
