What to expect - Great tour but heavy Spanish speaking. A lot of times didn’t know what was going on especially in the beginning where you have lots of people meeting at one location go on different excursions. 18.83 pesos to one dollar

magical experience - I highly recommend the guys at J Capital. They really advised me very well, resolved all my doubts, and made our trip a unique experience.

Excellent tour. I don't... - Excellent tour. I don't think it's right to charge the "taxes" before leaving the tour, since they're charged in cash or by card and are almost the same as the cost of the tour. I'd rather be given the full amount at the time of booking.

Our tour guide was nice waiting for us under the pressure of the bus driver. We really appreciate that. - Organized well except the order of places visited were not in the order of the description. Very happy with the service they provided,

Beautiful 1 day trip - - This was a guided tour, where there were around 60 people. Loved the overall experience. The tour guide who travelled with us was very engaging and informative. - We first went to a shopping complex, where all the tourists were gathered and were asked to pay for the tax for cenotes/chichen itza. This took away almost 30-45 mins of our time. - We then went to Cenote Suytun - where the main attraction is standing on the platform in the cenote and taking a picture. If you would like to take a picture, ensure that you are one of the first people in the line, because the stop is only for an hour and much time is spent standing in the line. The Cenote was beautiful. - Then we were taken to a place where Mayan welcome tradition was shown, followed by complete selling of some souveniers there - which were a bit costly. The food was atrocious - given we were vegetarians, not much options - no food placards - need to ask everytime - 'tengo carne???', which is frustrating. - Then we were taken to Chichen Itza - where given we did not know Spanish, we were accompanied by a guide (Pablo) who knows English and he was tremendously informative and helpful. Loved the way he engaged with us and shared the history, significance of the wonder. - Then we went to Cenote Ik Kil - which was beautiful. Loved taking dives into the cenote. Had enough time to swim. - At every stop, we were given an opportunity to have a drink (both alcohol/non-alcoholic) for free. - Then we went to Valladolid - where we hardly spent 30 mins. We were a bit disappointed that we had to spend such less time here, rather the initial time of gathering tourists at the shopping complex could have been reduced. - We went back to the room by 9:30 PM (started off at 7:30 AM). Some dislikes about the tour: - No clear instructions (the driver's number, the bus number, etc) were given about where our pickup would be. We were lucky that we went to the front of our resort and could find them. - The order of the activities on Viator is unreliable - because this was not followed. - The time mentioned on Viator is completely off, as our trip took almost 14 hours. - The food was disgusting. In the morning, we were given Ham and Cheese sandwich (no vegetarian option). In the afternoon, no quality food at all. But overall, enjoyed the trip and would recommend going on such a group package.

Good Tour to take - It is a good tour and overall was a good experience. Possible downside for some could be the time given at each Cenote. Since there is long queues to take pic it can feel a bit rushed. One can reduce the time spent at the village instead. Buffet lunch was good with good options. Boxed sandwich given in bus in morning had no vegetarian option even though we mentioned at the time of booking.

Too long a day - The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the tour itself took too long, be prepared it will be a super long day, we got picked up at 6 :40am and got hotel by 10pm. The time was wasted in the shopping part, you will not be forced to buy anything. But they won’t let you have lunch unless the shopping time is passed. And about the buffet, the food is free but drinks are expensive, yes, bringing your own drinks are not allowed.

A Long Day with Some Hiccups, But Beautiful Sights - We recently went on a 14-hour trip that was quite a rollercoaster. The day started with the company picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off at a mall to pay environmental taxes for Chichén Itzá and the cenotes. Unfortunately, there wasn't much explanation given, before and after paying the fees, and we had to figure out wha was happening and which bus to take on our own. One family (parents and two kids), that waas with us on the bus was told to switch buses at first, and then they never were able to get on back on the bus, not sure what has happened, but it was disheartening to see them arguing with a person who said they couldn't go. About an hour in to the trip, the bus stopped in the middle of nowhere and the driver, guide, and helper left without any explanation, leaving us waiting for about 10-15 minutes. We booked the tour with an English guide, but it turned out the guide was only available for about 30 minutes at Chichén Itzá. The rest of the time, the tour was predominantly in Spanish, and English speakers were only informed about specific stops and return times. Despite these inconveniences, the cenotes and Chichén Itzá were absolutely stunning and well worth the visit. For a smoother and more enjoyable experience, I would recommend considering a different travel company next time.

Criticism of tour made, it would be beneficial to improve the food and the duration of time in each place. - I did not like the tour, taking tourists to Chichen Itza at the last minute is not the most advisable, it took us more than half an hour to hear the guide's account and then within 15 minutes they closed the place, we did not get to tour anything. The tour should start with this place to live an unforgettable experience A short time in each cenote practically in the second ik-kil we did not reach even to go down to be able to swim, only take photos from above. The food of the tour, both the collation and the unappetizing lunch. I would suggest that you improve the food and time in each place. Take away the tour of Valladolid, would give more time to enjoy Pyramid and cenotes.
