Gem of a tour - This tour was a Gem. The schedule was followed as planned. All locations covered on schedule. Tour person Eloy was amazing. He shared Mayan history in great detail in relatable way. He was super helpful and delight to talk with. He hired two separate english and spanish guides for the Chicken Itza. Our english guide Sam was great guy too. The cenotes covered are both highly rated. The buffet was delicious with range of choices and great taste. Only negative here was that bus seats weren't very clean. And nitpicking, it was bit expensive, though mentioned on the tour description.

I learned a lot about the Mayan culture through my tour guide - My guide was excellent, he explained everything, things I was not aware of. It was like a history lesson.

Pick ip from different... - Pick ip from different hotels took too long. And no enough time for swimming in cenote. When we came back from the trip, the bus dropped us on the hotel entry street, not in front of the hotel door

Amazing Excursion - Great! All the Mayan history was fascinating, but I wish we would have skipped Valladolid and spent more time at Ik Kil.

Expect a long day - I don’t write reviews that often and although we saw great sites the logistics of the trip were really disappointing. It took 5 hours from pick up to get to the first stop. That is a ridiculous amount of time. I am aware the area visiting was 2/3 hours away and I’m not sure if that is normal for this trip, we went the longest way,, from Cancun to Playa del Carmen. It just seemed really extreme and frustrating. We only got 1 hour at the 2 cenotes which was not long enough, especially at Suytun with the queue for the famous picture. Chichen Itza again could have had a bit longer of a tour around the sites but was acceptable amount of time there. However none the timings were as advertised and on a whole it felt very rushed at each stop. The whole trip from pick up to drop off for me was over 15 hours (6am-9:30pm). The tour is stated as English but it’s very much geared to Spanish, I know I am in Mexico and wish I knew Spanish but at times I felt like I missed out on info/details especially with the local Mayan. On drop off back to the hotel I wasn’t taken to my hotel like it was for pick up and instead dropped off on the parallel road, around the corner, while I was able to walk it felt very cold and had I not known where I was could have been confusing for 9:30 at night. My one serious complaint is that despite notes on my reservation and contacting the company beforehand, I did not get an adequate breakfast. I cannot eat pork for religious reasons and despite checking I was given ham. To make it worse tour guide tried to convince me it was turkey when it clearly wasn’t. I found this incredible disrespectful and not something that should be dismissed/ignored. I did contact the company during the trip but nothing was done to rectify it. I’m happy I got to see what I did but I think there needs to be clearer expectations of what the day consists of.

Disappointed - I was a little disappointed with this tour. They were a little late picking me up from the resort but they did communicate that they were on the way. The biggest complaint was the language barrier. I speak only English and the majority of the guests spoke Spanish, so I feel the guide catered to them more. That made the experience not good because when we got to the destinations, I didn’t know what to expect. The lunch buffet was good however and the guide was nice just the language barrier made it difficult for me.

change of itinerary without notice in the announcement that this could occur. - In the tripadvisor ad they say they first go to Chichen Itza staying 3h, then cenote suytun, another 3h and then cenote ik kil 3h and Valladolid. There is no reservation in the announcement about the change of itinerary! However, the itinerary was changed and we started at Cenote Suytun, staying there less than 1 hour. I didn’t like the change for two reasons: we arrived in Chichen Itza at noon, that is, at the hottest time of day. I was soaked in sweat. And the other reason is that going to the cenote sooner means getting to Chichen Itza wet and disheveled. Another thing that upset me: they say 3 hours in Chichen Itza, however, we stayed less than 1h40, because the guide started counting the time we were supposed to be back since the bus entered the parking lot. It just so happens that we still take a while to get the tickets. In the end we stayed approximately 1h15.

Extremely Disappointing Experience 快逃 别来 - 请避雷这个一日游!导游做出歧视的动作!千万别来! I had a very disappointing experience on this one-day tour. It started badly when we were left waiting at the meeting point for almost half an hour before boarding the bus. The itinerary was not followed as advertised, with the order of activities completely changed, which caused confusion and frustration. What was truly infuriating, though, was the behavior of the guide. During the explanations, they made a discriminatory gesture by pulling at their eyes while talking about “Chinese eyes.” This was incredibly offensive and unacceptable. As tourists, we showed respect by being punctual and following the rules, but sadly, we were not treated with the same respect in return.
