great choice of tour - Amazing tour! We hit as many places as we could in one day and learned so much about the Mayan culture. Our guides Josue and Hector did a great job at being accommodating and attentive. I would book here again! Please keep in mind there is a tax for conservation that is payed up front before the tour starts on top of the tour payment, can be made in cash (preferred to avoid card transaction fees) or in card.

Excellent tour if you want to know cenotes and a wonder of the world - Excellent tour, super recommended! We saw 2 cenotes + chichen itza The staff (Josue, Hugo and Cesar) incredibly friendly, explained everything, gave 10000% I recommend it and would do it again! At the end of each place we visited we were greeted with drinks such as sodas, water, tequila beer etc. The food of the very rich Mayan community🥰

Long day but amazing time! - Great experience overall! Tour group was timely and communicated well. Eduardo (Lalo) and Hugo were our guides and they were fun and knowledgeable. They kept us hydrated throughout the whole day which was appreciated. Chichen Itza was amazing and our tour guide there was engaging. Our kids liked the cenotes best although at first they were scared to go down the caves but they enjoyed themselves at the end, both cenotes were just beautiful, great experience! One thing I wish I knew is to NOT wear sunscreen before going to the cenotes as you have to shower before you enter the area and they will make you go back if you have white stuff on your skin, and some of that sunscreen is so hard to rub off with just water. The buffet at the Mayan village was delicious and the place was super cute, I wish we had had more time eating as I felt a bit rushed and didn't really get a full lunch but I understood we were on a tight schedule because of all the activities. It is a loooong day so another thing I wish I would've planned differently is bringing lots of hearty snacks as after the lunch you won't really get to eat until you get back at 10pm or so! But again, great experience and highly recommend.

Friendly and informative guide, amazing crew and even better memories made! 10/10 experience - I had lots of fun. The buffet was so filling and delicious! The cenotes were so special and refreshing. Went to Chichén Itzá on the spring equinox it was cool. 10/10 recommend booking this tour. Ave 04 was my assigned bus, the guide was very passionate and very informative of Chichen Itzá and all throughout the tour! Bring bio friendly sunscreen and water shoes! You’ll have so much fun!

Chichen Itza plus 2 cenotes - We went on the Chichen Itza plus two cenotes tour. We were picked up at the hotel and spent time picking people up from other locations. Then we were dropped at a meeting point. This was confusing because no one gave us any instructions. We waited a bit and then some buses came to pick us up. The box lunch was passed out along the route to our first stop. The box lunch was described as including a sandwich, fruit, cookie and juice. The actual box we received had a white bread ham sandwich with a tiny tomato and a piece of lettuce. Nothing else. We also were given water bottles. The guides we had were Marco, Josue and their driver. First we went to a cenote that was very similar to a cave. We could swim and take pictures on a platform. You cannot wear shoes in the cenote and do not apply sunscreen as you will shower before getting in. The second stop was lunch. Before lunch we had to walk through the required shops where people were selling trinkets. We were then lead to a shop where chocolate was for sale. We had to wait in that shop for a time before we could go to the restaurant for lunch. The lunch was buffet and it was nice. Drinks are extra. We could have done without the shopping. There is so much of this in Mexico and it does get annoying. After lunch we went to Chichen Itza where the guides walked us to the entrance, gave us umbrellas and handed us off to a guide to take us to the ruins. The walk was longer than expected and the guide was walking super fast and did not wait for slower people. Once we got there we couldn't find our group so we did a self guided tour. It was very hot. Do not take this walk without good shoes. We still had on our water shoes and that was a mistake. Be advised the trail is rough but not steep. All the way up the trail there are vendors trying to sell you their wares, again, super annoying. After seeing the monument and the grounds we walked back down the gauntlet of solicitors to the bus. Then we went to another cenote where we could store our belongings in a locker and walk down to the pool. You can't bring anything to the water. My husband had crocs on and was told he couldn't wear them. His feet are very tender and he could not walk on the rough pavement and steps. Then they took pity on him and let him wear his crocs. After this final cenote we went to a small historic village where you could get out and do more shopping etc. We were too tired at this point to get off the bus. Then we were returned to our hotel. It was about a 12 hour day. The guides were great and did a nice job. We had nothing bad to say about them. If you are going to do this tour be prepared for a long day. Be prepared with swimming gear but also good walking shoes. Do not buy the bug spray. They sold it on the bus but we declined and did not see one mosquito or any bugs. Bring snacks! The box lunch is not a lunch. We didn't enjoy being forced to look at the vendors before lunch. Hope this information helps.

Very bad communication and boxed food; Not English as advertised; Great site visit and buffet lunch - The tour operators did a great job but the agency (ABP or Hi Cancun) here didn’t communicate our food preferences properly for the boxed food and also communication overall was very bad as we were told about pick-up time less than 12 hours before. When asked about food that we had requested, we were asked to go back to hotel if we are not happy with the food provided. Also, tour was not fully English language as advertised and told while booking. Guide did a good job of trying to include english but had a clear preference for Spanish and did a 30 min+ mayan history detail description in spanish only. The buffet lunch was great and the overall sites were very good to see and the guides were very knowledgeable.

Go but you'll know it's a tourist trap! - Go, but you'll know it's a tourist trap! All the time, the orientation of the tour is to sell you things. From mosquito repellents, chocolates and even beverages with your face printed on the label. The tour is good and the guides are strenuous, but they also sin for putting a lot of people from different hotels on the same buses. This made, in the morning, we stayed more than 2 hours riding to pick up people and, then, even changing buses so that the right group of people closed for our tour. The positive point is that, in fact, they picked us up at the hotel at the agreed time, which was 6:50 a.m. The downside is we stayed around the hotels and we only actually left to pick up the highway at 9:00 a.m.

RUSHED STOPS, POOR COMMUNICATION AND HIDDEN FEES! - Be extremely careful before booking with this company. They didn't deliver what they promised. We booked this tour and really regretted it. Communication was basically nonexistent and we were almost stranded at the drop off spot, which was very far from our hotel (in the middle of the night). The most frustrating part was the schedule. They advertise around three hours at each stop, but that's just not true. The stops were much shorter. In Valladolid, for example, we were there for maybe 30 minutes, tops. It felt rushed and nothing like what we thought we were paying for. On top of that, the pricing felt MISLEADING. They charged us a so called "conservation tax", which we later found out doesn't actually exist the way they present it. They're just charging you separately for the admission ticket but it's not explained clearly at all. We would not book with this company again and wouldn't recommend them to others.

BEWARE… SCAM AND TOURIST TRAP - BEWARE…. TOURIST TRAP AND SCAM. My partner and I attended this tour about two weeks ago now. During the stop to the lunch location, we had participated in a welcoming ceremony. Afterwards, we were sold two totems and quoted $599 pesos. We were then taken into the gift shop for payment, where my card was taken and the transaction was done without my input. After the fact, we explored the gift store and went to purchase gifts, when my card declined. I had no service to check why, so we paid with a different card. This transaction was in pesos, and during our shopping, an employee was assisting us, and all items were priced in pesos. We joined everyone at the lunch, where we paid for drinks in pesos. At this time I got service again, and seen I had been charged $599 USD. We immediately alerted our travel guide, and he directed us back to the gift shop staff. They refused to provide a refund, stating they couldn’t, and that I needed to contact my bank. They would not provide a refund receipt, and they would not assist us, despite our requests and objections. They said we had a receipt for the sale and to call our bank. Our tour guide later asked if we got it sorted, we said not really and explained what happened, and he essentially said as long as you got your receipt. I mentioned that likely won’t be enough and we expressed our disappointment in how it was handled. I have now reached out to the tour company twice to seek support and assistance with what has happened, as there needs to be some accountability. It has been over a week and a half now with no reply. We are no longer in Mexico, and I am currently fighting a tough battle to get our money back. In total, we were charged $750 AUD for two totems. There was no accountability or assistance on the day, and there has been none since. I have no way to track down the store without contact and help from the tour company. $750 is a lot of money, and had an incredibly detrimental effect on the rest of the holiday. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone for this tour. I urge you to seek a similar experience elsewhere.
