Absolutely amazing day - Went on the Deluxe Chichen Itza tour today and it was absolutely amazing! A very comfy coach ride with breakfast, all drinks, transfers and entrance tickets to Chichen Itza and the Cenote included. The tour instructor and tour guides with us (Beto, Amado and Miguel) were fabulous, very knowledgeable and honestly made the day amazing and one to remember.
The day started with a stop at a small Mayan town Pisté where you can buy necklace charms, Mayan calendars and anything you can think of that are made by the locals, then Chichen Itza, then back to Pisté where the locals cooked us buffet lunch with Mayan dancing, then swam in the Cenote (and Tequila tasting) and finally a quick stop at Valladolid (honestly bought the nicest chocolate ever in the Cocoa store) and then back to our hotel. Stress free, everything very well organised. Honestly cannot fault the day one bit❤️Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone if they get the chance too, a day and experience I’ll always remember, well worth the money and thankyou again to Beto, Amado and Miguel and driver Freddie for an amazing day trip👏🏼❤️

Incredible Tour to Chichen Itza, Cenote & More! - Our tour to Chichen Itza was unforgettable! Visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world was truly awe-inspiring. Guides Carlos and Luis were knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history of the Mayan culture come alive. They also had excellent tips and always had cold water, juice, soda or cervezas ready for you! The cenote swim was a highlight (although a little crowded), and the authentic Mexican lunch was delicious. We also had time to explore local shops for unique souvenirs. Bus driver Wilbert made the ride smooth and safe. Overall, an excellent experience with great guides and well-organized stops. Highly recommend this tour!!

Great time learning about mexico - I went to see Chichen Itza with Jose, Enqrique, Freddy and Luis.
The presentation along the way was really interesting. It lead to more questions which they easily answered.
Another amazing fact was I finally see first hand how the mayans aligned the pyramid for the equinox.
Hearing the bird sound the pyramid make is unbelievable yet amazing.
The tour covered everything I needed to know about Mexico and got to see so many things. The pyramid, mayan calendars, a cenote for swimming, a regional lunch and lastly a stop at Valiodad which has a historic city with an "el centro".

Awesome Tour - Cancun Passion had a great tour. Lots of information about Chichen Itza. Our tour guide was informative, had humor and knew a lot about the Myan Culture. Also gave us information about the area while on route to Chichen Itza.

Magnificent maya tour - What a beautiful day we spent with passion cancun's team! Chichen Itza tour was unbelievable and we had the chance to live it in french with the best guide out there, Carlos Gonzales, who speaks many other languages. We began the trip with a visit of the city of Valladolid, we had a buffet of Yucatan regionnal specialities for diner near the Chichen Itza, did the visit of this magnificent maya site and finished our tour swimming in a cenote. I highly recommand it to anybody who wants to learn about maya's history, high intelligence and art with passionate guide Carlos Gonzales! Won't regret it!

Family of 4 in Mexico for first time - Berto, Josué, Felipe and Jairo the driver were all wonderful. They helped make sure we didn’t get lost from the group at Chichén Itzá, gave great information, were entertaining, safe and organized. Very generous with food and beverages. Bus was comfortable enough and driving was safe. Would recommend.

Chichen Itza Deluxe EN FRANÇAIS - Really a great experience! And in French! Our guide, CARLOS, speaks very good French. And what about his knowledge of MAYA culture!
We left Cozumel to go on our own to Playa del Carmen. We are then taken care of by Cancun Passion. All the logistics of that day were perfect. I recommend this excursion, in French, with the guide CARLOS!!!

Tourist Trap - Chichen Itza is nice - Honestly, the whole tour is a scam.
You are taken to a ‘local’ shop about 5 minutes before getting to Chichen Itza, forced to stay for about 45 minutes. The toilets are right at the back of a long maze of shops where you are constantly pestered and chased to buy something. It is VERY clear your tour guides know everyone here. Before getting off the bus you are given a name tag with the tour guides name on it I suspect so they know who to give commission to sales to. Everywhere in this shop is 5-10x more expensive than at Chichen Itza.
Next we made it to Chichen Itza we were given a tour by the guide which was okay, some nice facts. We were promised an hour to an hour and a half of ‘free time’ to explore. We got about 20-30 minutes at most and they had pre-warned us before getting off the bus that if we are late we will be left behind. Coincidentally they had also at the end of the ‘tour’ left us at the furthest point from the entrance.
Next we went back to the ‘local shop’ for a buffet lunch. The food was nice and actually it was good to try some truly local food prepared by local people. Then come the acts… we had ‘Mayan’ dancers come and dance all around us then beg for tips. Then we had two flamenco women with bottles balanced on their heads walk around the tables a little and ask for tips. Then we had to walk out to the bus and had more ‘Mayans’ harass us for tips.
Finally back on the bus, we went to the Cenote. We got an hour here, which in reality is about 20-30 minutes by the time you have got in, paid for the Life Jacket and Locker (which they fail to mention at any point that it is not included in your ticket) this was the most relaxing part of the day, but extremely short lived. Also full of scammers wanting hundreds of dollars for a bottle of tequila.
Finally we had the visit to a small town, promised to get out and look about. They claimed there were too many ‘protesters’ in the town so the bus has been told it cannot stop due to danger. My partner and I saw no protesters even when they ‘pointed them out’. Also if they KNEW there were ‘Protesters’ why not give us more time at the cenote? Ah, because they’re liars.
Finally we drove back to Playa Del Carmen and the 10-15 minute long speech we got from the guide about how much of a tip they deserved was honestly predatory.
This is without mentioning the attitude we got from the staff for not opting for the ‘premium package’ which amounted to stale pastries and a few soft drinks.
Chichen Itza is awesome, unsure you can get there cost effectively many other ways but my wanting is to you that if you book this tour it is a complete tourist trap. AVOID IF POSSIBLE.
