Information-rich tour - would recommend - A really memorable, experience-and-information-rich day to complement our relaxing beach time in the Tulum area. The trip was wonderfully organised with good communication from the off. Our trip to Valladolid was replaced with a trip to Coba because of street closures and events in Valladolid (at no extra upfront cost although we did have to pay for pedal bikes at Coba). However - we actually thought this change of itinerary turned out to be a positive one as we felt it was a unique experience taking in some beautiful jungle and Mayan ruins from our pedal bikes. Our tour guide Gabriel gave us plentiful information about historical and modern-day culture on the bus rides and at the sites and was always willing to answer our extra questions. The driving felt safe throughout and saw us efficiently move between hotels to sites and from site to site. Our Tulum hostel wasn't on the original list but there was no problem taking us to and from there. Plentiful refreshments were provided throughout the day. We were pleased to tick a cenote off the list although Cenote Ik Kil is clearly a very tourist-heavy one so not one for those seeking something off the beaten track. We would thoroughly recommend the whole day - a must for those wanting their insight into Mayan culture.

Great semi-private tour for English-speaking families - This tour provided a very memorable day for our family of four! Tonantzin was a great guide. Her explanations of the sights were engaging for both adults and kids, and she allowed us some time for exploring on our own. She knew the guides from several other tours that we ran into at Chichen Itza, so you could tell that she’s a seasoned pro and very familiar with the sights there. Logistics and communications were also very good — just make sure you have WhatsApp installed on your phone. In addition to Tonantzin we had a driver, Marcela, which made it easy to get in and out of each site quickly. The van we took was in good condition and got us safely from place to place with reasonable comfort, but don’t expect to ride in luxury. Chichen Itza was incredible, of course. The surprise hit was the cenote. We didn’t really know what to expect, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our vacation. I highly recommend bringing a bathing suit and towel so you can go in the water there. The day before we left, they informed us that Valladolid would not be passable, so they offered to take us to Coba instead. I don’t know what Valladolid would have been like, but we had a great time riding bikes through the ruins at Coba and appreciated them offering the alternative. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour to families looking for a semi-private tour of some great sights with excellent service.

Unforgettable experience Maya - Visit more than recommended! Especially pleasant and interesting thanks to Tonantzin, our Guide, who not only knew a lot about Mayan history and culture but also knew how to infect us with his love for it. Thank you very much to Guillermo for taking us to all the safe, cool and hydrated places.

FUN FULL DAY WITHOUT FEELING RUSHED - This was a wonderful FULL DAY experience with our guides and driver! We chose this tour specifically because of the early pickup & early arrival to all the sites- to better experience everything with less crowds & we were very glad we did as they told us Sundays chichen gets upwards of 8000 visitors! Another factor in our choosing this tour was the amount of time we were allotted at each stop was more than many other tours I saw. We were very pleased to have time to learn with our guide as well as be free and explore for plenty of time at each stop without feeling rushed. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. We felt safe the entire day. We were very glad to have this more authentic experience off resort and highly recommend to those visiting the area!!

I would do all the excursions with them - We booked the excursion from Spain based on the comments we had read and the truth is that they perfectly meet what they offer. Maximum punctuality, very small groups, very comfortable transportation and a guide with a lot of knowledge of both Mexican history and the places to visit, which allows you to avoid lines and take "shortcuts" to avoid large tourist groups. The communication prior to the excursion is also very good, via WhatsApp giving all kinds of information. We were so pleased with the first excursion that once there, we booked another to Tulum, Cenotes and swimming with turtles and we would have done a third to Isla Mujeres, but our daughter was not feeling very well. Super recommended!!!

It was a long day, but... - It was a long day, but getting away from the resort and seeing the real Mexico was a priceless experience.

Beautiful Sites, But Not What We Signed Up For - I was very specific with my preferences when booking this tour — Chichén Itzá was a must, but Il Kil and Valladolid were key highlights for me. I chose this provider because the itinerary included all three. However, the night before the tour, we were informed that the roads in Valladolid were closed and that the tour wouldn't be happening as scheduled. We were given two options: a full refund or the same tour on a different day, with a different third destination — Coba instead of Valladolid. We went with the modified tour, thinking it wouldn’t make much sense to look for another provider if the road closures were legit. Still, something felt a bit off. Later, we looked online and couldn't find any official information about the closures. Our hunch is that the group wasn’t full and they didn’t want to run the tour for just two people. If that’s the case — fair enough — but I do wish the provider had been honest with us about it so we could simply book the desired destination with someone else. All in all did enjoyed the modified tour. The group was small (about 6–7 people), which made it a more comfortable experience. Chichén Itzá is stunning, and Ik Kil was absolutely amazing! The food there was meh though, but there is an option to get better options for additional cost. But I wouldn’t recommend including Coba after those two — it turns the day into a very long, very hot marathon. After a 5 AM pickup, spending hours in the jungle riding bikes under the sun was a bit too much, and it added an extra 3–4 hours to our return to Cancún. In short, we enjoyed exploring Mayan culture, and we’re glad we got to see Chichén Itzá and Ik Kil. But if our original itinerary hadn’t been canceled, we would never have chosen the Chichén Itzá–Ik Kil–Coba combination on our own.

Disappointing experience on last day in Cancun - Awoke early to be in the lobby for a 5:30am pickup. Started leaving messages for tour company at about 5:50pm and later for Viator. The tour guide responded to a message and was surprised we hadn’t been picked up yet, but she hadn’t either. She later called back to let us know the bus had broken down and the tour was cancelled. I understand that situations like this can happen, but neither the tour company or Viator were proactive about anything. I did receive a message later that my request for a full refund would be honored.
