The tour of the Guatemalan highlands is a juxtaposition of natural splendor and distinctive cultural experiences. Our inaugural destination is the Chichicastenango Handicrafts Market, an event that takes place solely on Thursdays and Sundays. This venue offers a glimpse into the everyday lives of the Quiché Maya people, making it an opportune moment to acquire handcrafted goods. Later in the day, we’ll make our way to the town of Panajachel, where we’ll stop for lunch and enjoy the panoramic scenery of the majestic Lake Atitlan, which emerged just over 85,000 years ago and is now flanked by three grand volcanoes. Finally, we’ll embark on our journey back to Guatemala City.
