Great trip showing off Chicago as a nicer place than NYC. - Exploring the City By river and lake gives it a whole new prospective, as the building stand back to be admired.
And learning about the city structural design with the lock to the lake and water pumping station etc showed how Chicago is an around amazing city and we think better than NYC.

Good choice - Had a good time. Did a thorough job giving some of Chicago’s history and facts about the architecture. Jacob was our tour guide and dude a good job and was very personable.

Not the best experience - Refrain from doing this tour during a dust storm and windy conditions. Besides the dust storm, the water was too choppy. After 25 minutes into the trip, the wind was so strong that the water from the waves started spilling into our tour boat. This caused many of us to head below. People were screaming and sliding in their chairs. We were surprised that the tour boat did not circle back and head to the port. The deck was wet due to water flying in the boat that people were sliding around trying to get below. Again, the wind was extremely strong. My family made numerous attempts to get below but the water was clouding our view. We finally made it to some steps in which my daughter almost fell but she bumped her head. It was complete chaos! My family and I were drenched with water due to the volume of water coming onto the boat. Things must have calmed down because a few people started heading back to the top of the boat. The tour continued and finished at 8 pm as scheduled. To be clear, the tour guide was good in maintaining her composure and trying to instruct the people. She did a great job! Again, I think the boat should have returned back to port when the waves became too strong. I would suggest not doing this tour on a windy day.
