September Treasure - Very invigorating as the weather is cooler. Excellent view of the Chicago skyline from Lake Michigan with the sun setting. Then the Chicago River architecture tour was incredible. Our tour guide, Jake was fantastic, entertaining & knowledgeable. Highly recommend. .

Chicago Bark with no Bite - Best architecture tour experience in Chicago. Speed boat touch was great. Sit in the front or middle ofpossible, less likely for getting wet. Tour guide was entertaining. Book the 11:15 tour. Gives you time for breakfast, and finished just in time for lunch.

You will learn a lot... - You will learn a lot about Chicago history and the architecture. The story about how and why the lock system came into being was fascinating. The end, a speedboat ride on the lake, was exciting and offers great views of the Chicago skyline

Not much Thrill - nor good commentary. - Not much thrill - not great commentary Disappointing. We took our kids on The 6pm 75 minute architectural tour. The content wasn’t great, about 50% bad jokes and 50% superficial discussion of a few buildings. I used to live in Chicago and have done 4-5 tours with other companies that were much better, more factual and entertaining. We chose this because he thought the kids would enjoy the high speed boat ride at the end. The five minute joy ride after 70 minutes of bad jokes and underwhelming commentary wasn’t worth it. I wish we had done the old Chicago fire boats or the traditional architectural or history cruise with our kids 7-14 years old.

Seadog doesn't honor tickets for sailings THEY cancel at the dock - repeatedly in our case. - We made two special trips to Navy Pier and both times Seadog cancelled 5 Min before as we were waiting in line because of too few customers. The first time we got a ticket for a sailing the next day, and they cancelled again just before boarding. We said our Go City pass expired that day and they said no problem. Just come back and show your ticket. We did, after confirming by phone, and this time the sailing was on and they had space. But they refused to honor the unused ticket despite the their own promises after two earlier cancellations of valid boarding passes. I wonder if Go City paid them for our unused tickets. Skip them; Shoreline tours is better.
