• Chinatown Square - Features a mural and statues of the 12 Zodiac animals. Stroll through the Plaza, passing by Joy Yee, various general merchandise shops, numerous restaurants, ice cream parlors, and the historic St. Anne’s Bakery.
• Chicago Chinatown - Cross Archer and then Cermak Rd, named after a former Chicago Mayor who was tragically killed in an assassination attempt on a U.S. President. Walk east to learn about the development of Old Chinatown.

The next stop is the historic Pui-Tak Center.

Continue walking south and take photos in front of the historic Won Kow building, which has been featured in many TV shows and movies and was a favorite spot of the legendary Chicago gangster Al Capone. Admire the cool recessed balcony atop Emperor’s Choice restaurant and the beautiful TerraCotta decorative tiles on this building, as well as on the Pui-Tak Center and many others throughout Chinatown. Visit the oldest Chinese Bakery Store in Chinatown, Chiu Quon.

• Pui Tak Center - Spend a few minutes discussing the historic Pui-Tak Center and the significance of Merchant Associations in developing Chinese communities.
• Chinese-American Museum of Chicago - Explore the unique local Chinese American history by showcasing and celebrating current Chinese American art, culture, and innovation.
• Nine Dragon Wall - This wall is crafted from glazed tile from China and is modeled after the wall in Beihai Park in Beijing. The Chinatown mural replicates the large dragons and over 500 smaller dragons painted in red, gold, and blue, symbolizing the Chinese focus on good fortune. The Nine Dragon Wall is one of only three such replicas outside of China.
• Ping Tom Memorial Park - The beautiful Ping Tom Park offers walking trails along the South Branch of the Chicago River with stunning views of Chicago’s skyline and historic bridges. Amenities include the Pagoda Pavilion, a Water Taxi to Ogilvie Metra Station and Michigan Avenue operated by Wendella, a children’s playground, and beautiful Chinese murals under the 18th Street Bridge.
