Explore the Chicago Loop’s Pedway system, a series of underground pedestrian tunnels, and enjoy some of Chicago’s unique attractions above ground.

The tour starts in the Swissotel lobby with an introduction to the Pedway system. From there, the journey descends into the Pedway, leading to the Cultural Center. After a short tour of the Cultural Center and its renowned Tiffany Dome, the tour returns to the Pedway to visit Macy’s department store, famous for its Tiffany ceiling, and makes a stop at the iconic Walnut Room.

Returning to the Pedway, the tour heads west to the Civic Center plaza to admire the Picasso sculpture and view the Chicago Temple and its Sky Chapel, one of the tallest church buildings in the world. A brief walk takes the group to City Hall and Marriage Court, followed by a visit to a nearby L Stop.

A quick train ride brings the group to the start/end point of Route 66, where they can enjoy the Art Institute’s lion statues, Millennium Park’s Cloud Gate sculpture (also known as The Bean), Lurie Gardens, and Crown Fountain.
