After a delightful meal, the next stop is the stunning Wat Banden temple in Chiang Mai, renowned for its beauty, comparable to the White Temple in Chiang Rai. This temple is dedicated to spiritual Buddhist activities. The day concludes with a visit to the Elephant Welfare Sanctuary Park, where visitors can engage with elephants in the Mae Ping River, a major river in Chiang Mai. Tu is the best! - Tu was very informative in explaining the Buddhism and monk ways with us. He was friendly, warm, and accommodating. I would recommend the tour to my friends.

Great Chiang Mai temple tour! - We had a great tour with Tom! He was very knowledgeable and getting to speak with and meditate with a practicing monk was such a cool experience. The temples are also beautiful and definitely worth seeing.

Awesome tour & so informative! - Really awesome experience & tour! The guide used to be a monk and has so much knowledge! His English is really good too so it makes it a fascinating history & cultural information be fascinating! Really recommend this tour. It's not rushed the experience and they are flexible and so friendly. The car they pick you up is a luxury type and very spacious.

Worth getting up early for - Loved everything about this trip. Sipohn was amazing, knowledgeable, approachable, fun and a fantastic photographer as well. It was a privilege to be able to see the monks and nuns chanting. Would highly recommend it is really worth an early start.

Magical Morning! - This tour was the highlight of our trip! “Handsome Tom” is by far one of the best tour guides we have ever had. His in depth knowledge of the Buddhist culture, Thai history and excellent communication skills made the trip exceptional. The temples were beautiful and I highly recommend taking the early tour as you get much of the site to yourself before the crowds arrive. The most amazing experience was learning mediation from his former student and receiving a blessing…this was truly a magical and memorable moment. We can’t say enough great things about Tom and this tour!!

Fantastic Sunrise Temple Tour with ex-monk. - Our morning Sunrise Temple Tour was unique and amazing. Our tour guide Tamna is ex-monk. He is very knowledgeable, extremely thoughtful and friendly. We enjoyed all the activities he arranged for us including sit with monks while they did their morning chanting, offering food to monks, receiving special blessing from monks, and much more. The weather was perfect for the Sunrise, and the views were breathtaking.

I completed the ' Wat Phra That Doi Suthep spiritual sunrise tour ' with mom during Buddha day and I learned a lot about Thai culture and Thai Buddhism practice and history. Special shout out to our tour guide Tu for his knowledge, attention and humour. We booked directly with the company via their website and I would highly recommend this company and this tour.

Must do early morning tour! - What an amazing tour! Our guide Tu is an extremely knowledgeable former monk with the kindest heart. My husband and I learned so much about Thai Buddhism and both remarked when we got back to the hotel how this tour will be one of the most memorable experiences from the trip. Highly recommend if you are interested in immersing and learning more about the culture and religion. Thank you Tu!

Amazing Experience. Must try. TU was an amazing guide. - This was such an amazing experience. My guide Tu was so knowledgeable since he used to be a monk himself but very attentive. I did the early tour and Im so happy I did. There were no crowds, the whole temple was to myself. It was great! Thank you TU for everything, it was a very memorable part of my trip!

Must do experience in Chiang Mai - The sunrise trip to Doi Suthep and the other jungle temple was an extraordinary trip. The guide Tom was very well versed with the history and culture. And explained the history behind both the temples very well. This is a must do experience in Chiang Mai
