Funny, informative and very entertaining - Definitely gory and full of gross humour, but also weirdly informative. The tour takes you through how medicine has developed through the years, starting as far back as the plague. Lots of interactive things, and a person dressed as a plague doctor gave me a fright several times. It's not actor led, so you can go through the different areas at your own pace.

Hidden gem - Stumbled across this museum on a day trip to Chester, me and my husband decided to go in as the entry fee was only 8 pound each and what a great experience for such a reasonable price. It was fun, informative and very educational. There are so many displays full of sights, sounds and smells, depicting sickness and illnesses through the ages. It may sound morbid to some but I can assure you the experience is well worth it. We spent around 2 hours in there but really we could have spent longer but we had a lunch booked. Would definitely return, if you are ever in Chester, would highly recommend a visit.

Could be better - Not a great experience. My son was doing medicine through time so thought this would be a good introduction to the topic. Information was good but all a little disjointed. Models looked a little worse for wear. This could be a great educational resource but at the moment it's not.

Shut down! - The venue was shut down. With a piece of paper on the door stating it was closed. We called the number and whilst Morgan was helpful giving us an email to contact the email respondent said we had to go back to trip advisor for a refund and that was it. It’s now closed until further notice. Be warned. I only bought the ticket a few days ago!
