Great tour giving a perfect blend of castles, bubbly & wine tasting and arty caves as well - Great tour giving a perfect blend of castles, bubbly & wine tasting and arty caves as well! The Loire valley region is delightful and full of autumn colour at the moment. Our tour guide and driver was professional and knowledgeable, we felt safe and comfortable with his driving skills and appreciated his guidance and ideas. The lunch restaurant was lovely and the staff attentive and helpful. The wineries were locally owned and run which we loved and were very unique and friendly.

Great tour outside of Paris - This was a very good experience. Our goal was to see France outside of Paris and this tour exceeded that goal. Our guide Sebastian was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, courteous and truly looked after us. Thank you Sebastian!

Excellent experience. Worth the price. - This was an excellent tour for the day. We were picked up at our hotel on time. There was excellent communication prior to the trip. Our tour guide was Sebastian. He was Excellent!! Very informative throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour

Day trip to the Loire... - Day trip to the Loire Valley Castles and Wine Tour. Sebastian picked us up at our hotel and was our guide for the entire day. He was engaging, knowledgeable and made it such an enjoyable day!

We had a wonderful... - We had a wonderful variety of l activities spaced nicely by Sebastian.
Prompt pick up with freshly cleaned windows, made the views clear.
Chateau’s were very different from each other so didn’t feel like we were just seeing the same thing again .
Lunch was amazing !
Wineries were very nice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Enjoyed sharing our day with Sebastian!

Full day of delights & surprises! - Sebastian was great! The tour exceeded our expectations. Sebastian was knowledgeable, personable and very accommodating. The castle tours were super fun but Sebastian 's private winery tours were THE BEST PART! He really made the day special. Lunch was AMAZING . I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely do it again!

A Perfect Day in the Loire Valley - Our group of five booked the Wine Tasting Tour in the Loire Valley with Castle Visits and Lunch, guided by Sebastian, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
Sebastian was communicative from the start, and we set off early in a very comfortable SUV. As we left Paris, he kept us engaged with historical insights, fun trivia, and local landmarks. Throughout the day, he was friendly, easygoing, and incredibly knowledgeable. It felt like we were exploring with a well-informed friend.
The castles and wineries we visited were all excellent, and Sebastian guided us through the wineries himself. He offered thoughtful commentary on wine production and even led us through a quarry and wine cave.
Lunch was a standout, possibly our best meal of the entire trip. Every dish was beautifully prepared, and the rustic setting was absolutely charming.
Venturing out of Paris to explore the Loire Valley was well worth it, and we wholeheartedly recommend this tour — and Sebastian in particular — for anyone looking for a day of history, wine, and scenery.

Loire Valley Could Have Been 5 Star - Traveling in a group of 8 is preferable to a large bus load of people. The guide/driver was excellent with text communication prior to pickup. Chambord and Chenonceau were beautiful castles to visit in the Loire Valley especially the latter with its beautiful gardens. Our restaurant in the countryside provided an excellent meal and I highly recommend including that in your package. It is a long day due to the distance from Paris but well worth it.
I would have given a 5 star rating however our guide did not enunciate clearly even though he spoke good English. We missed a lot of the
Information that would have greatly enhanced the trip. Also, the four of us in the back of the van could not hear him regardless of poor enunciation. Need hearing devices or sound system of some kind.

We made the most of it! - I’m honestly a little surprised by many of the reviews here. We had a wonderful day, but our entire group had the feeling that our guide would rather be anywhere but leading us on the tour. The only thing he really got excited or animated about was the traffic and bad driving we ran into on our way out of and back into Paris. He did not talk much about the castles, and we didn’t have much of any discussion about the wines we were sampling, just the bottling process in the caves. He was very flexible on timing and let us do what we wanted to get the most out of our day, so we made it fun, but he seemed painfully bored the entire time. The castles were beautiful, the wines were good, and lunch was a massive highlight, but based on other reviews I’m seeing, it seems like our guide was having a very off day…
