• Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - The Chengdu Giant Panda Base is a premier giant panda breeding research facility, often referred to as the “Panda Home.” Visitors can explore the Giant Panda Pavilion, Butterfly Pavilion, Red Panda Pavilion, Giant Panda Wildlife Area, and the Giant Panda Mother and Baby Room, among others.
• Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo) - Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area offers hiking opportunities. A tour guide provides explanations throughout the visit. The Buddha statue stands 71 meters tall, 18 meters taller than the 53-meter-high Mian Buddha in Afghanistan, earning the description “Buddha is a mountain, the mountain is a Buddha.” Visitors can also explore the Zen Rim, Lingyun Temple, Shakya Mani Hall, the nine winding plank road, the confluence of the three rivers, and the Lingbao Tower.
