Perfectly Timed Trip to Chefchaouen - My partner and I had an excellent day tour of Chefchaouen through the Auen Tour company. Our driver, Youssef, was a pleasure and made the long drive up fun. The communication with the company was excellent through WhatsApp, picking us up at our Airbnb right on time. I appreciated the quick communication with Google map links, a picture of the vehicle picking us up, and the driver's WhatsApp number (which we did not need). The van was the best tour vehicle I’ve personally ridden in; it was spotless, modern, spacious, and had WiFi! The timing of the trip was great; we stopped for rest breaks on the drive and had a well-timed local tour and free time to walk around. We had 3 hours of free time, and it was plenty to take pictures, shop, and eat at the excellent clock tower restaurant (they have a camel burger!) On the way back, they provided some much-needed water and juice. Without hesitation, I would like to tour with Auen and Youssef again!

Day tour from Tanger to Chefchaouen, the Blue City - This, by far, was the most organized and enjoyable tour I have ever taken…thanks to Youssef. The day before the trip I realized I had not booked enough seats because my son came on the vacation with us last minute…Youssef settled my panic and made room for all of us on the tour. He was clear in meeting points and on time. The ride to Chefchaouen takes a bit of time but his beautiful Mercedes tour bus was in pristine condition and not only did I feel safe and comfortable but I had WiFi connection!! Youssef is not our tour guide but he was the highlight of our trip. He explained culture and landscape throughout the drive while providing music that I couldn’t help wanting to dance to! My college age kids really loved his vibe and the long drive was very enjoyable. We ran into a snag with the drive because of an accident. While we waited for the traffic to move we all enjoyed the coolness in his beautiful bus and listened to wonderful music. When we arrived to the city he left us with the tour guide with clear directions for meeting at day end. We walked the city with the tour guide and learned about the history and customs of Chefchaouen and then we separated for the remainder of the tour to explore and have lunch. At the end, we were greeted by Youseff and drove back to Tanger with lots of stories, laughs, excitement and more music…ending the tour with a beautiful panoramic view of the Mediterranean at sunset! Spectacular! My kids and I were sad to part ways with Youseff. He was thoughtful, very funny, and went out of his way to be helpful…offering his support for ideas of sites to visit outside of his tour. He will be someone we remember forever from our trip to Morocco.

Great day out - We’ve had supper day trip to Chefchaouen with this company (X Auen travel ) in good A/c , WiFi and very nice driver ( YOUSSEF). He was very friendly and easy to get on with as well as careful driver . Today’s date 14/08/2025 and I will travel with him in my next trips . Thank you YOUSSEF

Best tour in tangier! - Youssef was the best. I’ve been on a few tours in Morocco and they just didn’t seem happy or excited. He made it fun and engaging and was always in communication. I barely heard or knew how to reach the other tour companies and they just seemed miserable and didn’t know how to address you. Youssef knew everyone by name and would text recommendations and text just to check in on you. Best tour by far and it all came down to the guide and tour company he also made the long bus ride fun

Beautiful town - +ve Pick up on time , vehicle comfortable with free WiFi and a/c . Refreshment stop half way en route. Local guide informative with right mix of professionalism, approachability and humour. -ve The pick up guide gave no info about tour/ journey etc prior to leaving minibus in tangier. The driver didn't speak to us at all only via another tourist who happened to speak Arabic. Free time in Chefchouan could be reduced by 30 mins. 1330-1600 more than enough for lunch and wander. Panoramic Tangier stop on return a waste of time in this period - big crane spoiling view plus in high season added an extra hour onto already long journey.

Very nice - Hello. This village is very cute, that is to see on the other hand we follow a guide so not necessarily time to take pictures and many people, you have to know that it is a very tiring day, 4 hours drive from TANGIER to go with two stops and 3 hours back

A beautiful experience - Good very detailed and interesting visit with Hamdoulah. Driving our driver Adil very flexible and pleasant. A little regret after more than 3 hours of driving, on arrival in Chefchouen at 12:30 the guided tour started immediately... so we could only eat at 3:00 pm.... difficult to hold between hunger and heat!

Blue village Chefchachouan - Nice trips with friendly guidance from the driver and local guide in Chefchachouan. Too bad the bus was too hot, despite the so-called air conditioning....
