Chambok Home Stay - We will pick you up at 5:30am, then take a ferry across the Mekong River and drive to our birdwatching site. Upon arriving at the natural lake where local farmers grow lotus, paddy rice, and other vegetables, we will begin observing birds such as the little egret, Chinese pond heron, tern, Indian Roller, Bee-Eater, White-breasted waterhen, Purple Swamphen, Pheasant-Tailed Jacana, Bronze-winged jacana, oriental cormorant, Bee eater, and numerous wetland birds. We may also spot the little Cormorant and oriental darter before enjoying a packed breakfast and taking a leisurely walk to the Cambodian Tailorbird habitat. The Cambodian tailorbird is a species endemic to Cambodia, likely confined to a single dense shrub habitat in the Mekong River floodplain. Afterward, we will have some relaxing and refreshing time during the transfer to Chambok Community Based Ecotourism for sunset birdwatching and an overnight stay, experiencing local life.

During this hike, we may see the Great hornbill, Chinese Francolin, Common Flameback, Black-naped Oriole, Heart-spotted woodpecker, Velvet-fronted Nuthatch, Verditer Flycatcher, and numerous forest birds.
