Chattanooga taste of excellence - Absolutely amazing food tour. Our first stop was Old Gilman Grill, then Alchemy, followed by a walking tour and our last stop was the Common House. We enjoyed some of the best food and drinks we have experienced. But the best part by far was Bre, our tour guide. She was a pleasure to spend time with and she has a wealth of Chattanooga history to share. We will definitely book another tour on our next trip to Chattanooga.

Best Tour with Briana! - The food tour was so much better than we anticipated! We are 5 lifelong girlfriends on a weekend trip and this sounded like fun based other reviews. It was much more than food, although the food/drinks were amazing! We were paired with another group of girlfriends and it was so much fun talking with them. Briana, our tour guide, was a wealth of knowledge and a great ambassador for Chattanooga! She has a wonderful personality and made the tour top notch!! Thanks for a great night!

Delightful! - This tour was delightful! The choice of venues and the food selection served were all freshly prepared and very tasty. The pace of the tour was also enjoyable. We did not have to wait long for the food dishes since they were expecting us and the menu was predetermined. The pace and tidbits of information about the venues allow you to talk with and get to know others in the group if you choose. Our tour guide, Briana, was a breath of fresh air. Her knowledge of the city and Chattanooga's history and culture was priceless, interesting, and informative. If you enjoy food-tasting tours and a good mix of food offerings, we would highly recommend Chatt taste food tour.

WOW, We got to know the city in a whole new light. - This was one of the best tours we've ever been on. We've lived in the city for about 6 years but Briana's knowledge of Chattanooga's culture, history, and architecture made us feel like we were touring for the first time. And the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. We were definitely not expecting to be full after the tour, so make sure you come with an appetite. And Briana's customer service was top notch. We'll be booking our next tour soon.

Excellent exploration of Chattanooga - Alex was an excellent tour guide, taking us through west village to all kinds of restaurants. He was extremely knowledgeable and congenial, and we can tell that his friendly attitude with all of the staff helped guarantee fast and conscientious service at every stop on the tour.

Great food and drinks! - My wife and I planned this trip for our anniversary and we had a great time. The food was great and each one served us a cocktail. Alex, our tour guide, was super friendly and gave us some history and information while we were walking between the restaurants. We will definitely be back for another tour.

Chatt Taste Downtown Chattanooga Food Tour Received was not as Described by the Company! - This Review of Downton Chattanooga Food Tour (2 adults), with Chatt Taste Food Tours, is based on our personal experience on the evening of 10/25/2024. We have no other experience with Chatt Taste Food Tours. We scheduled the aforementioned tour directly with Chatt Tours three days prior to the tour. The food tour we paid for and received was not as advertised. Based on our experience on 10/25/24, we would not schedule another tour with Chatt Tours. Our food tour only included stops at two restaurants, not four as advertised. At a total cost of more than $300 for two people, and considering the tour description provided by the company, along with the reason many take a food tour, this is unacceptable. Had management shown the courtesy to make us aware of the change prior to the start of the tour, we would have chosen to use our limited time in Chattanooga, and the more than three-hundred dollars paid, in a different manner. On the date the tour was booked, the description for this tour found on the Chatt Taste Food Tours website clearly indicates the food tour will include stops at four different restaurants-it even provides the names of the places to be visited; and, while the disclaimer indicates the "locations" may change, there is no information to suggest the number of restaurants visited my be reduced by 50%. Food tours are one of our favorite things to do when traveling and as such, we have participated in many at different locations in the U.S., and in other countries. The tour with Chatt Tours is the first food tour where we have experienced something less than what was advertised. The concern has nothing to do with the amount of food received. It lies in that we paid a lot of money for a FOOD TOUR that was advertised to include exposure to four different restaurants. We had no expectation as to which four we may visit, but we paid to visit four different restaurants, and only visited two. After the tour started we learned a private event prevented us from visiting two locations that are generally visited on this tour, and that we would only be stopping at two restaurants. We later learned Chatt Taste has arrangements with more than 20 restaurants and yet when two became unavailable, the location was not changed for our tour, as described in the tour description. Further, whereas we were notified of a change of the meeting place more than 24-hours prior to the start of the tour, it would suggest management knew of the conflict at least a day prior and failed to correct the situation, or notify participants of the change. In large part the value of a tour of this type for us is we are exposed to four or five different restaurants in a few hours; and, we learn about the restaurant itself, their menu, and have an opportunity to taste something they are known for. The experience we received was not as described by the company or similar to what we have experienced on other food tours, it resulted in the loss of our one of only two evenings we had in Chattanooga, and a cost of more than $300 for the two of us.
