Highlights
  • 108 Meeting St - Hear tales of ghosts and graveyards, the legends of an ancient city that have only been whispered from generation to generation. Our “Spectral Adventure” Tour isn’t like those other tours. No history tour in the dark. No reporting on hauntings. Instead, your guide will weave tales of decapitation, hanging, live burial and tragic demise. Some stories are derived from John Bennett’s ghastly old Charleston Ghost classic “Doctor to the Dead.”

Knowledgeable tour guide Al - Al was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. Great with answering questions and put some nice humor at times during the presentation. We highly recommend Al for an unforgettable and informative tour.

Charleston Walking Ghost & History Tour by Al - Al Ray more than satisfied our curiosity about what happened “at this very spot” pre & post Antebellum times, providing both historical context & colorful commentary. He was a delight. Bonus were “he’s my nephew” (old money) + “we just saw a ghost” (mom w 2 kids) + “Hi Al, good to see you,” (friendly local) - as if cast to exemplify Al’s characterization of Charleston.
