A beautiful harbor as rich in history as it is rich in breathtaking vistas. Centuries old homes kept in pristine condition by their proud residents. Cobblestone streets. One-of-a-kind shops and vendors. Charleston has it all. And we’d love to introduce her to you with a Carriage Tour experience that is classic and unique as she. Each of our tours is an hour long and covers 2-3 miles of Charleston’s residential Historic District. They are narrated by some of Charleston’s best city-licensed tour guides who are happy to share their local insight with you. Tours load and depart about every 30 minutes from our stable at 20 Anson Street.

Rich in history and charm, a 30-minute evening private tour with Charleston Carriage Works will reveal captivating tales of Charleston’s significant events and distinctive culture. This experience will make you fall in love with this stunning city, just as many have before. Starting near Market Street, the tour begins in the stable where you can meet the horses before embarking on a stylish journey in one of our modern custom carriages to explore Charleston’s sights. Our carriages are designed to be lighter and more comfortable than others in town, allowing our magnificent draft horses to enjoy the tour as much as you will!

• Children 2 years and under are free but must sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. You always have the option of purchasing a seat for your child.
