Great experience - We had a very good time during the walking tour. Even though our tour date was changed a couple of times, the organisers kept in touch with us and we were able to reschedule very conveniently. We received great recommendations for restaurants, bars etc. What we appreciated the most was that the guides were still available to answer other questions we had even after the tour, on WhatsApp.

A fun afternoon - This is a great thing to do when you first arrive in Chania - it helped us orientate ourselves and gave us an understanding of the different civilisations that have ruled the city. Also useful for finding places to eat!

Very boring, everything... - Very boring, everything you could read in a short tourist book.Don’t need guides for that.Expected to bring Chania to life.

Disappointing walking tour - The Chania walking tour was really underwhelming. The two guides did their best and were enthusiastic but it was not good compared to my usual walking tour experiences. It was advertised to go for 2 hours and finished after 1 hour 20 minutes and we weren’t moving fast either. The plan (itinerary) set by the tour operator clearly did not have enough on it to cover 2 hours. I don’t like giving bad reviews (and usually give good ones) but this was a standout as disappointing.

Failure! - Two hour tour we are told, 1hr 40 mins was the reality. What did we learn, not a lot. This experience is not worth the money. If you have any doubt, don’t go.

not reliable - we booked the tour in the early morning of the same day and it got confirmed immediately. we took a taxi to get to the meeting spot, looked everywhere and the tour guide did not show up. after texting a german number, they informed us that our tour was never confirmed. very disappointing, but the cafe koukouvaya was super nice! might be better to just go there.

No guide - Unfortunately, our guide never showed up. There is no phone to contact. Two groups were waiting and we stayed for over 45 minutes, without anyone arriving. They did respond by email and immediately issue a refund. It was just disappointing that no one arrived.

Guide no-show - I arrived in good time for the 9.30am walking tour but the guide did not show up. Incredibly disappointing considering you pay €2.50 to book a free tour as "no-shows are costly to our business". No one was in touch to cancel and there is no phone number on the booking confirmation or website to contact at short notice. What a let down.
