- Kew Mae Pan - Upon arrival at Inthanon Mountain, also known as “The Roof of Thailand”, visit the highest summit of Thailand, 8415 feet (2,565 meters) above sea level. Find the remains of the previous king of Chiang Mai enshrined here; then, walk along the Angka Luang Natural trail to a lookout where you can enjoy the forest from above, covered with lichens and wild orchids. You might even catch a glimpse of some rare species of birds along the trail.
- Phra Maha Dhatu Naphamethinidon and Naphaphonphumisiri Pagoda - Continue the trip with a visit to the twin pagodas (Phra Mahathat Napha Methanidon and Phra Mahathat Naphaphon Bhumisiri), built for King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit to commemorate their fifth cycle birthdays. Each pagoda also enshrines Buddha’s relics.
